Hi! In this 2-minute DBD guide, I go over how to play against Unknown; the newest killer added in Dead by Daylight’s All Things Wicked Chapter(7.6.0 Update)!
The Unknown is a mix between Singularity’s ranged gun, Nemesis’ infection, and Hag’s map movement.
His main power is inside chases (which you can counter similar to Huntress mind games), so if you dispel the hallucinations around objectives and work on gens you shouldn’t have a hard time against him 🙂
NOTE:
To clear up potential confusion, the “UVX Balls” I mention in the video are officially called “UVX projectiles” 😂

Here are some other tips worth mentioning against The Unknown 🙂
– Remember that the cooldown for shooting another ball is 7s so you don't need to dodge for that amount of time
– Starting down the killer isn't as tedious as revealing Ghost Face, as long as the killer is on your screen the weakened meter will go down
– Another good time to dispel a hallucination is when the killer is busy in a chase, which you can see with the entity claws moving on the survivor HUD

The thing is how do you counter the balls AOE if he shoots it at your feet?
This is all great and all until these players learn how to snipe across the map
Nah this killer is overpowered rn i think they should nerf him to have a 2 second animation visible by survivors for his ball
He’s too strong tbh how is he able to teleport & have range? Is crazy tbh everyone running devour hope and noed and there’s nothing you can do smh
Love your tips man, but honestly this killer overpowered. No matter how many times you dodge his uvx he has no cooldown, can just keep teleporting, and the radius with the uvx is so big that even if they miss there’s still a HUGE chance they can hit you.
He’s definitely op I’ve played about 10 games and only had 2 decent ones . It feels like he has no cool down after hitting you with the ball thing. Then for some reason most of the match he had no terror radius or red stain ?

I dont like how he can shoot the ball thing at a wall and if you are on the other side it can still hit you,
and then sometimes theres situations where you lose distance trying to dodge the ball and then he just m1s you anyway it feels like a lose lose
