I'm actually secretly hoping that BHVR actually has a replay system capture in their system, so that they can refer back to the match when someone reported it. Because not all the time we record our gameplays. For instance, just recently I encountered a subtle cheater who kept changing his perks and addons just because he was frustrated with us as a killer. We ended up losing the game partly because of that and nobody realized that. I reported him but I'm not sure what are the odds since I don't have a game replay..

Look, I like your videos and your personality, but not in this, of course not in this, not only are Dbd practically or almost completely to blame with its null, inefficient and tremendous laziness on top of throwing us 15 minutes to report the hackers when It should be Behaveour that should implement measures such as a replay mode or a thousand other methods to detect hacks.
If we hardly have a tendency to be able to play much less to do their dirty work and in case you don't know the hackers made thousands and thousands of free accounts using epic games when they put Dbd for free, that is if the hacker has been careful never ever ever you can take it that simple.

Such an esoteric and unintuitive method of reporting, especially with a null report method much more intuitively accessible in-game, and with a requirement that third-party software is used in addition to the second-location and outdated site: it all speaks to a dev team who knows they're in over their head, and would rather pacify than problem-solve.
To sum it up, to report the hacker/cheater effectively, it is required to have footage/video otherwise bhvr will send the report ticket straight to the trash and the report will be worth a big pile of f*cking sh*t

They are the main supply and why cheaters go to them because their software cornuz Zen cannot be detected at all.. how they get away with it so easily that dumb company protects them

I do this. This has been going on for so long. Not only is this unbelievably tedious but I feel like at this point BHVR should be putting in more effort to stop the cheating. I do not buy that they are putting 100% effort into stopping this. I'm convinced at this point they are incentivized to keep the cheaters in the game somehow. Either a lot of the revenue from hackers rebuying the game or they have their hands in it themselves.

Is reporting for Epic the same as it is for console?
PC players I doubt are running OBS for funs. Fingers crossed🤞though. Console method to report only covers reporting a killer that is also console but…. Console players generally cannot hack and only were Lag-switching back in the day when it was peer-to-peer so console to console reporting is useless imo.
Is there a way to match reports for a Console player to PC player hacking? Does not seen possible which is sad because console players would be the most likely to report with video evidence since the consoles can auto record easily for submissions.

Yo, I am so stupid. I have around 400+ hours in game currently, and I had a match recently with Yui. She pulled up pallets after knocking them down. This was the FIRST TIME I had ever seen it, and didn't know anything about Yui and her perks. She also seemed to run faster than me for the first part of the game. I thought, "holy shit, this is a fecking hacker. wtf. I've never seen a survivor act like that." Then I took a moment after the game and getting all heated about them "hacking" to look at their perks and make sure it wasn't a perk. There it was. "At Any Cost". I felt stupid as all get out.

all of this takes a minimum of 15~20 minutes. So if you plan to play DBD for 1 hour, well, if you met a hacker, would you spend half of your playtime to report? or just go next?
It sucks that we have to submit video evidence though. Not everyone records/streams their matches.
Honestly… doing all that just to ban an account just for the same account user to be back in the game in another hacked account is not worth it. Leaving DBD is the best option because it shows BVHR that we don’t wanna play a game that has been easily cheated. By leaving the game in the thousands it sends the message clear that your game needs a drastic change.
This is a great video that's very informative and lays things out in a step-by-step procedure really well.
With that being said, I'm not returning to this game because this being such a massive chore when all I want to do is spend my very limited free time playing the video game is part of why I left.
BHVR can make a better reporting system, because I can't be bothered to give a shit anymore when I can just play a different game instead.

I REALLY wish DBD had match replay option at least for the last few matches, like Overwatch has. OW even lets you replay the whole match from enemy POV so you can see exactly what they are doing, it would be so helpful in DBD. I for start do not record my matches, so reporting like this is a big inconvenience for me…

Shouldn't need to provide proof imo, or even go through this process to submit a ticket. If they really cared about hackers, they'd just make a system where a replay is saved when reporting in-game.

I don't know why but I never face with cheaters before. I've played this game for the last 3 months and I've even got my both killer & survivors to Iridescent grade (i-3 for survivor and i-1 for killer) yet I haven't seen anyone using cheats before. Maybe because different server?
