  1. If this is really dracula they better not make him a toy for the survivors like most killers you can push around and bully because of their weakness, the lord of blood deserves TRUE POWER.
Saying that as hardcore castlevania fan and someone who resonates and feels him.

  2. DnD Vecna makes a lot of sense from a marketing stand point. Think about it Veca will be the main villain in the DnD movie, DnD 2024 will be coming out soon and it can't be "out dated info" because if they have the license for DnD Vecna you cant just undo that easy, it just wouldn't work. it lines up to well and I don't think it can be Stranger Things Vecna.

  3. Yeah I think Vecna being the DnD version might be accurate due to legal reasons. After all the name "Vecna" is from DnD and Stranger Things makes that clear in the show. So it could be treading thin legal ice to put a character named "Vecna" in a video game and profit on it without having Wizards of the Coast involved. Also if you make the character based on the dnd version and just make a Stranger Things "skin" for him then you never have to worry about Netflix pulling the license again. Once bitten, twice shy, as they say.

  4. 5:31 your info is wrong in this part, dbd mobile did actually have stranger things characters before they were removed at the same time as core game, the only difference was the mobile version didn't have the map if that's what you meant with "stranger things chapter"

  5. I'm not sure if you'll see this, but it'd make a lot of sense if the original killer is Frank Stone. The timeline would make sense looking at Supermassive's history for releasing games it'd make sense if Frank Stone came out in March

  6. Think about it: if you could choose between playing as DnD Vecna and ST Vecna, which one would you choose? Since the majority of players would probably choose ST Vecna, the character would be much more profitable if they made him a Skin for DnD Vecna.

  7. Ok i definitely prefer dnd Vecna and have stranger things vecna as a skin because not only does that meant they dont risk losing the chapter again with netflix, that probably means we'll get a bunch of dnd skins (aswell as maybe other vecna skins aswell). Imagine we get an Alhoon, a mind flayer lich

  8. Thing is, I don't really see where Vecna from D&D and Vecna from Stranger Things are similar like AT ALL. While ST Vecna is more similar than ST Demogorgon is to DND Demogorgon I guess, still. A Mind Flayer in DND are not at all the same as the Mind Flayer in ST. It was the kids naming the monsters after the monsters from D&D, not so much that they were versions of such.

  9. There is only one problem I see in this possible "leak": the fact that Matthieu said that "classic horror" killers like Vampires, Werewolves, Mummies and so on will be original chapters in order to give their own interpretation (or something such). Now, I haven't played Castelvania, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Dracula would be a vampire, right? This would not only invalidate the point that Matthieu made, but it would make anything that says bhvr unreliable. We're not talking about saying "No Stranger things won't come back, Netflix doesn't consider me" as Matthieu said some time ago, here we're talking about completely invalidating any statement made by bhvr including those like "Jason Voorhees will arrive one day, we're looking at it" (I take Jason as an example, but also FNaF and other licenses). One could tell me "Yes but they already did it with Chucky, they said it wasn't feasible" but that statement dates back to an era in which the killers' powers were very simple, not like today when the powers are complex, and therefore a third-person killer isn't that strange. I don't know, in my opinion this comment is not as convincing as that of Alien and Chucky could have been
