Overall he is a safely designed killer that doesn’t really do anything wrong, but I just don’t find myself interested in playing him.

  1. Overall his power is just boring and uninteresting to use but he does look really cool so it’s a shame they didn’t show any creativity but I hope they do a non licensed killer so they have freedom to make something unique

  2. To each their own but personally, Dracula may be in the top five of my favorite killers. I love the new style of killers where they have more versatility. Helfire needs some slight tweaking but overall, I think it's a very slept on ability when compared to the Wolf form.

  3. 1:49 Anyone one else feel like Hillbilly's Chainsaw kinda does this? The whole "Camera moves so freely you dont know where the Chainsaw-Sprint's starting direction is if you try to flick aim?"

  4. I think Dracula and Vecna are two sides of the same "multi power killer" coin. None of Vecna's powers are balanced around being weak, they're balanced around their long cooldowns and in game items which mitigate them. Dracula pretty much always has access to any of the powers at any time, but because of his extensive a the ready tool kit each power isn't as immediately powerful.

I think gameplay wise he's a bit of a niche, since he really is more than any other killer 3 separate tools rather than 1. Most killers have 1 tool with the depth of 3. Neither of these ideas are worse than the other when executed properly, but there will be people who prefer one over the other. I'm glad he's in the game even if he's not for everyone, I think it shows the devs aren't restricting themselves.

  5. I feel like Hellfire's static hitbox and Wolf's set pounce duration makes him potentially quite fair. Whichever side learns the Hellfire/Pounce interval best wins that interaction. Not as much zoning as Pyramid Head, Nemesis or Wesker

  6. I'm still on the fence on one hand I keep losing gens so fast but I think I've found a build I like for him maybe it could be I'm just ass at the game and the people I go against are sweaty AF but idk

  7. So what you're saying is that you're upset about not having a lingering hitbox??? I don't think any killer should be able to correct their mistake, post mistake. Lets talk about the cheaters that shoot hellfire while in bat and wolf form….totally been 40% of the Draculas I've faced.

  8. I find the Wolf Pounce hit detection kind of jank, I Pounced towards a survivor at a pallet spot and they hugged the wall and I passed right in between the survivor and the upright pallet. Even though I was touching their character model, I still passed right through

  9. I don't really like the flow of his transformations. The CDs and slows make him feel quite sluggish to play and individually his powers are quite underwhelming. I feel like he supposed to be played at a fast pace to make up for the lack of individual powers, but currently his playstyle is way too slow for my liking. Lots of pauses and CD's that make the flow of his chase style feel like one step forward two steps back.

  10. Since Huntress and Nemesis allow us to correct the split second after we release the power, they could probably add a similar correction window on Dracula to make him feel a bit smoother to play. We’ll see if that happens.

  11. My two issues with Dracula are that charging Hellfire feels INSANELY clunky (I personally don't mind the way its aim is determined as soon as you click, I just hate how slow you feel charging it and for so long) and that I just don't feel the wolf is ever a better option than being in Vampire or Bat forms. If I want to catch up to survivors or get around quicker, Bat form is always the obvious tool, and in chase being able to shoot over obstacles is almost always more useful than the Wolf form's Weskogorgon pounce due to its combination of short range and inability to control how quickly you chain-pounce. The scent orbs also often feel worthless if they spawn out of your way since collecting them then requires wasting extra time and in turn wastes your speed boost before you even get it, and the killer instinct after a survivor vaults just isn't long enough to be useful without addons.

All this just makes for a killer that feels frustratingly underwhelming, despite the pieces of something cool being there.

  12. i say we don’t bitch about not liking characters that don’t have awful designs like Knight and Skull merchant. I would every day of the year prefer safe and decent than boring

  13. the hellfire needs to be that way cause it is instant, not like pyramidheads wavelike spawn. also it goes over things and hits survivor crouch behind it. Personally i get the clunky part, but then they need to add a delay so survivors can react.
Wolf form is perfectly balanced, on certain loops you cant see the killer anymore and since there are no footsteps like chucky doublebacks are more guesswork.
If there was no cooldown he would be way to strong and hard to counter, just like vecna when he spawns skelletons right on top of you.

Ofc as you said its your personal experience, but as i know bhvr they might think that its an issue.
