I'm not really excited for this chapter and I never really got into the movies of alien so yeah and it's just basically a replacement of demogorgon… but I'm not saying it sucks just not trying be rude.
My theory was very close skull merchant was supost to be predator but they got alien so they decided to bring alien first then predator instead of a avp chapter

My boy they probably delayed the chapter to compete with Texas chainsaw massacre bhvr is acculturation really good with competition decisions and this makes a lot of sense

I watched entire first Alien movie and it was kinda mid, 6/10 but only cause the 1st half (before finding Alien eggs) was fucking boring and no one would miss anything if they just skip to the planet they found the eggs which is in like 50 minutes of almost 2 hour movie. 2nd half was much better but still had some problems. Also it wasn't scary, i even laughed once cause the Alien they use is clearly a puppet they move around. Besides that for 1979 this movie is beatiful

I actually have all the stranger things content, thank God! Also, Lets hope or at least pray chapter 30 is Jason Voorhees. At this point even without a survivor included I would still be satisfied. 😃👍
I’ve been wanting Alien for a long time, it’s one of my heavy hitters so I’m SUPER excited. That being said…I don’t want to expect too much here with this chapter; because I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed.
What I’d love to see is a stealth mode where it’s on all fours moving at 5.0MPS, in stealth it’s M1 is a charged pounce mechanic to pin survivors to the ground and take a health state if not putting them into the dying state if they miss a difficult skill check, and an alternate attack to see scent trails around it that dissipate after 5seconds. While standing it lashed out with its tail for a midrange attach in front of it. Then a passive slow down to bring in the face huggers spawning an egg by every Gen, and then if they are mori’d while they have an egg in them they get chest bursted.
For the slow down, an egg will spawn by each Gen and you can have add-ons to increase the amount so that there are “charges” to this passive. If a survivor comes within 6 meters of the egg a face hugger will attack them. If they get attacked then their movement is brought down to a slow walk, the Xeno gets killer instinct and the survivor has to make several difficult skill checks to get the face hugger off. If they fail a skill check, it incapacitates them forcing another survivor to come get the face hugger off them and they have a chest bursted implanted into them. For the chest bursters, I’m thinking something like Nemesis, Wesker, and Singularity, there could be boxes around the map that survivors will have to open to get a syringe out of. They then use that syringe to inject into their chests in order to kill the egg inside their chest, removing the chest burster. If they are on death hook with a chest burster in them, they can get mori’d. That way it’s more like Pyramid heads mini Mori, and not as oppressive or abusable as Sadako’s ya know? That way you can’t just have a slug to 4K win. It’s mori without a chest burster in the survivor is the Xeno picks up the survivor, roars in their face, and it’s mini mouth shoots out biting through their face multiple times maybe even dismembering it.
I’d also love if Ellen comes with a perk that has Jonsey follow the survivor around, and the car will react if the killer comes within certain range. A sort of visual spine chill, watching the cats body language letting you know if the killer is coming at you. It would be hard, coding wise, but I want Behavior to normalize going above and beyond for license chapters. We also desperately need something new, and adding in a sort of “pet” perk category would be really cool.
That’s really what I desperately want and that to me is the bare minimum. I expect though that Behavior’s idea of the bare minimum will make the Xeno a Demo 2.0 and they won’t go above and beyond for the license chapter…like usual. So I’m trying to keep my expectations really low so I don’t get disappointed by it.
No matter if it’s a proper Alien chapter, or a Demo 2.0 that just has a pounce mechanic and placing a limited amount of eggs around the map, this’ll be new main as will Ripley…side note I hope we get Ripley’s shirt and panties skin from the end of the movie- don’t judge me Sigourney Weaver is the GOAT if Final girls. I want a bunch of skins and yes that’s one.
No one can replace my demo baby
Kinda wanted input from someone who’s actually seen the movies. Not much you can go off since you don’t know wtf it is.
Power must be different from demogorgon. Alien needs to be smt like stealth killer + twins' victor (facehugger). But the most important feature for me is climbing. In movies, it always wait and move on walls or air ducts.
If they give the Xenomorph a pallet shred that works exactly like Demogorgon with the same speed of recovery, I'm just gonna kill myself because one killer that can taunt your pallet throws is too much to deal with. They need to at least fix Demogorgon's shred effectiveness first. Full charge or no charge for pallet shreds is what I say.
