So one incorrect thing is that Dracula can flick his hellfire pillar. The moment he casts there is a single frame before it actually fires out. During that 1 frame you can flick. But it feels so wierd.
Honestly ever killer has it’s own pros and cons, what matters is what outweighs the other. But what do I know?
His addons aren’t even good because his powers are basekit booty.
One thing I love is the shield add on for this killer reason being is it kinda stops players from doing that t bag thing before they leave they can’t do that with fire being thrown at them
It’s just so clunky feeling. I main Vecna and I think I’ll continue maining Vecna.
I love the feel of Dracula, a character who can do well in many situations. His different forms are fun to swap to and use. Plus he gives way to some fun meme builds, loke full wolf haste.
I didn't really like dracula, this chapter kind of reminds me of when sadako and then dredge released in that they're two similar killers that released close together. But this time with vecna and dracula, the formers connection being stealth killers that can teleport to predetermined locations on the map, vs now which ill call killers with a box of assorted powers.
I've been loving vecna recently, and i think i love vecna for the reasons i don't like dracula, which is i like how creative you can be with vecna, and the management you have to do with his power. With dracula, its almost flowchart like, is the survivor at a tile with medium to long walls that you can't see over? Wolf form. Are they a far away or holding w in an empty area? Bat form. Else: use hellfire. And the cooldowns really reflect that.
The techs themselves don't change my opinion either, i hate the 1 frame flick on pyramid head, the clearance for what hellfire can and can't go through is inconsistent, and hug teching with wolf form is something that while useful, is something that just isn't intuitive or feels good to use at all.
Its why i don't really agree he particularly hard to play, hes just really unintutive.
You guys try playing with predator and bloodhound? That would be a no.
Try it I think it is funny. Especially as the doggo. If you can't track scratch marks with that set up then I think your a survivor main.
Also you all have the wrong idea of Dracula.
Glad to know that other people were having a rough time with Dracula. This reminds me a lot of day 1 singularity… Extremely clunky on console, painful to play right out of the box, and requires a herculean amount of effort to do what other killers can do much more easily
Glad some people are having fun but i was really disappointed with this killer
Forgive me if I misunderstood but what are the skill ceiling things you can do in vampire and bat or is it literally just wolf man lol
drac has only been only for 1 day…. I'm just here to have fun with him, I could care less if i get losses. I like that he's some got a bunch of tools to play with. I know i'm not in that high MMR range, I'm most likely in the mid with my 3k hours, but I mainly play for fun.
That souls analogy explains exactly how I feel about playing the unknown, you nailed the feeling on the head
Ah yes my favorite souls-like loop of "Wow man this boss is sure the epitome of poor game design and the developers should lose their family" shortly followed up by "Yeah that was probably the best boss in this game what a great time"
He is still garbage. Sadly even with hug tech playing him feels clunky and like eating glass.
Bro is just ranting to rant. This is one of the dumber opinions out there.
One thing i will say is Dracula is his bat's form
Bat form is basically a teleport only and don't stay in it too long because there is no benefit unless you equip add ons like window blocking and the hindered on teleport window and make the teleport better by giving it more range
Being blind in bat form really holds it back and it can't see blood which makes it an even harder spirit
Wolf is decent and plus with hug teching being doable it makes pounce more stronger
Vampire form hell fire blast can allow for some crazy hits if you see even see a gap that has an opening to allow you to shoot through or over alot of objects
Bat form 🦇 and hell fire 🔥 are the reason I love Dracula. He's slowly becoming my favorite character even though In some cases he doesn't feel well, once you master them to a degree he is so fun. I have a "really strong build" don't quote me that takes advantage of bat form oppression pop surveillance. Makes my knowledge on what's going on with bat forms speed so good. I know he isn't for everyone but I'm loving him
He was made for advanced killers thats more veteran at the game
Honestly Dracula is my favorite killer.
I do enjoy a challenging killer to play and even tho he is pretty hard to play as but I think he is a decently strong killer once people master this killer
Funny that ppl think jack of all trade killers should do things ways better
same here tbh, love him but hate him at the same time. his wind up/cool downs feel horrible.
Correct me if I'm wrong but can't Wesker also hugtech to a certain extent?
I feel like I get punished just for charging up my power as Dracula XD
Honestly bro, I think he feels great. Is he S tier? No, no he's not. All things considered, he's quite possibly weaker than Vecna. He's a lot of fun to play though. The different shapeshifts for different situations are engaging, and honestly, Hellfire is quite strong. It doesn't go through anything like Pyramid Head's does, but it's also not as telegraphed, and he has better map traversal to offset. I'd put the release on Par w Unknown/Sable, personally. Making it one of the better ones. Though I disagree w most of what you say, still gave a like and sub, since you elaborate your points well. Looking forward to the next video.
Wait until they remove this
great takes
I don't know what matches you're getting, Hellfire and Pounces are EXTREMELY easy to read, my second match was a SWF with brand new parts and septic agents lol
I really don't see why anyone would pick him, unless they want to get BM'd and personally I don't think exploits or bugs really justify it because BHVR will eventually try to fix it
I haven't played Dracula yet (tbh, there are a lot of killers I have I've still never touched), but my experience with him is just getting destroyed unless we get a friendly one. XD
Dracula is a perfectly designed killer in my eyes. He can do anything and more, however it requires skill and practice to fully grasp his kit and know how to do what you need to do to win. I will respect good Dracula players more than I respect good Nurses. He is easy to pick up for casual low MMR players, but hard to master for high MMR veterans. The better you are at his kit, the better you perform. However, players that main Pyramid Head, Chucky, Wesker and Spirit will have an easier time. This character is perfect for someone that absolutely love those 4 killers and can play them very well, since it uses the same mechanicsz but refined, weakened by a bit and combined into one.
This'll be rrally sad once Hug Tech gets temoved from dracula
Yeah I tried Dracula he's not good as nemesis or singularity i play i still got it…. Even though I did the no perks and no add-ons still not good with him
As someone who’s neurodivergent, the intense multitasking and micromanaging that comes with killers like Vecna and Dracula is deeply satisfying and rewarding for me. While they of course aren’t the best killers in the game, they can be surprisingly oppressive if you’re able to make use of every opportunity to use the tools available to them which is why I tend to enjoy characters like that so much. They encourage you to constantly be improvising so that you can trick survivors into making crucial mistakes that will cost them sooner or later.
I'm honestly not big on the design direction they're going in, giving every new killer a hundred tiny powers that are just worse than other killers. I feel like they start to lack identity at a certain point when every killer has a power "similar to Nemesis." I swear I've heard that phrase a dozen times at this point.
