  1. Awesome video! Also, I apologize for telling you the Epic games switch looked to be a solution. I should've done more research before tossing that to you there buddy. Not that I was the only person saying it, but even still

  2. oh please, I've reported a random DC game in support and told them: "fix this random disconnect problem where "you've been disconnected by host" appears from nowhere, because I had to wait 15 minutes for nothing and next time it will be even more", their reply was: "sorry but matchmaking ban is an integral part of matchmaking system and we can't change it", they just disregarded my point that it was a DC bug i'm troubled at.
also I've been sending a video clips in MKV and MP4 format as a file, cause they provide an "upload file" button on their support page, but they never open it and just reply: "we can't read this format, upload it to YouTube or OneDrive".
as far as i understand, their first step in resolving any ticket is just "f%ck off and here's a random reason why", just to "solve" ticket as fast as possible to sieve out only most assertive people, and when you don't give up and re-open the ticket, or reply to e-mail with more details/give what they want, they ONLY THEN, MAYBE start taking a look, if you're lucky. however, reporting cheaters with video evidence uploaded to YT ends up in a single reply "okay we're looking into it but we can't tell you our verdict due to user terms", and who knows if they actually ban someone or not.

    tl;dr: bhvr support SUCKS

  3. Dude can I switch mmr. I hardly play dbd anymore because for some reason my 200 hour ass is only matched vs 5k+ hour survivors. I don’t play any op killers or run meta builds so my kill rate isn’t anything spectacular. It feels so bad man. I’m out here doing a billy daily and I’m getting full meta swf every single game :/

  5. I work as a customer support agent for a large international company. I can safely tell you that:

The names are nicknames, and you should not need to redact them.

The agents are using and modifying pre-made responses.

You can never really know if they are honest when they tell you they made an investigation.

They are following very specific and strict guidelines which do not allow them to act more natural or sincere.

Feedback is probably logged but then no one will really bother with it.

The Twitter posts are just PR and don't mean anything.

I hope you found this useful.

  6. You can’t ever go through the support because they will ban you from socials and the game. Happened to me when I reported a single bug(my first report) and I was banned from the game and socials

  7. I've only been playing since November of 2022, and MMR has been all over the place. This entire time, I have been matched with beginner players and veterans alike. I just don't think MMR actually exists or at least that it works in general.

  8. This could actually could be with the thing they said about your mmr being lowered after not playing for a while because they said and dont quote me they would make a feature to lower mmr for returning players so they are not put in the deep end. what if dbd when you connected your epic games acc that has owned dbd for how ever long ago it was free on epic it thinks you have not played once since then and has lowered your mmr accordingly

  9. I wonder what you or everyone else did that was different from what I did, because I did the same, linking my Epic to my Steam so I could play on Epic. I couldn't get a VPN but I figured I'd rather do something then nothing. Point is my MMR definitely wasn't reset. My games have been exactly as they were before, and I wasn't encountering any survivors with clearly little to no experience.

  10. I had a bad experience with reporting multiple people they keep telling me that oh we will see what we can do when they have evidence of a very blatant hacker or shouting slurs. Then they say they can't tell me if that person was banned for privacy

  11. Im gonna be honest, this is actually incredibly shitty. Youre taking the poor experience BHVR support gave you and youre encouraging people to take it out on players, specifically newer players, and now dozens if not hundred of people with a lot of experience are going to be tanking their MMR and making it absolutely miserable to pick up this game, even more so than it already is. Respectfully, this was an incredibly bad idea.

  12. Turning a blind eye is easier than actually doing something. It sucks. They're making all this money from DLCs and cosmetics and they don't want to do anything else.

  13. Support is really bad. At the beginning, I reported cheaters, exploiters, griefers, etc. I did it a few times with video proof and all I got was a response like the sort: "We will look into this. From this point onwards we will no longer be able to tell you about our resolution, but thanks for the data."
For me, that's the worst kind of customer support; the lack of feedback. It takes time to prepare the video and upload it, write the ticket and all that stuff, but then you don't even get to know if they actually banned the person or not.
Because of this, I stopped reporting. It's not worth my time and I don't want to contribute to helping Bhvr with such bad customer support.

  14. MMR shouldnt even be in the game, sbmm doesnt work if you balance the game around players who sit in corners sucking their thumbs the moment they hear anything
