IMO the in-game report doesn't do sh*t and I suggest anyone to try submitting a ticket to CS on DBD website.
Once a Bubba bodyblocked me for half of the match and trash-talked me with bad words. Once I submitted the ticket on DBD website, the CS responded pretty quickly and a few days later that Bubba was banned. Happy ending.
Edited: You have to report the player in-game before submitting the ticket.
