  1. From what I experienced in the PTB now, the DH became absolutly useless, its a complete nerf. We killers just have to time the animation end and as a survivor tries to vault or drop a pallet u can m1. Just the same it was before without the really important part, the sprint. High level talking of course. The sprint was the only thing making the DH really broken, the possibility to adjust chase errors and get distance. Now the DH just works as "possible defending tool" only if the killer miss times the animation end. The BT at base is a real problem haha, big, the other synergies too, disgusting. And the gen speed nerf? Not enough, not even close for me. But the other nerfs as Iron will ecc are good, nothing special tho of couse, game will remain the same. Maybe a little bit better.

Before, Dead hard would be used to GET to the window… Now they won't gain any distance. So in theory you should be able to hit them on the vault every time, as long as you have distance in your favor.

Previously if you had distance in your favor they would dead hard to the window and you lose the distance in your favor because the dash. This is definitely a nerf in this scenario.

  3. So we gonna ignore how absolutely busted and OP the Killer meta is now.

Yeah yeah sure the endurance stuff for survivors are pretty crap but solo queue is gonna be absolutely impossible at high mmr. It’s almost like they made these perks for SWF and to counter SWF.

  4. Once again. Doesn't want to discuss how a gen can take over 190 seconds to complete and how there is unbalance on both ends, only wants the narrative that survivors are op. OTR is for sure broken and i am confident it will be reworked before they go live, but he never talks about how crazy strong some of the killer perks are. It is good to have killers buffed, but solo q is going to be worse than ever and nobody discusses that.

  5. BT at base doesn't change anything. I don't understand people freaking out about it. On the live server we never hit survivors off the hook because of BT, and on the PTB we have to play around BT exactly the same. Just don't tunnel.

  6. I wouldn't say that DH is buffed, though. Maybe the same, or close to the previous version. Previously, you could still just DH to a pallet while being a fair bit away from it, and you'd gain enough distance that it would take the killer another 1-2 seconds to be able to swing at you, which would be enough time to put the pallet down. It was pretty much the same as another health-state.

  7. whelp if this update goes live I am 100% done as a killer player, this is pure bullshit, droswy and spooky are lying to the community about Killer being "massively" buffed. Fucking fog whisperers never taken a word they say seriously.

  8. Endurance shouldn't stack like that. If you have endurance from bt base, bt and off the record, and then get hit – you should just get endurance once for all three. Lord almighty…

  9. With the old dead hard when you were going for the hit before the fast vault as the killer and survivor used dead hard you would have body blocked him most of the time… Now if you hit them they can use the window.

  10. If base speeds got lower doesn't that mean that % buffs from brutal, STBFS, Fire up are lower? While final outcome is better than before, perks are less powerful. Like you used to take 2s to kick a gen, with brutal it was 1.6s which is 0.4s faster. Now default is 1.8s and with brutal it's 1.44 which is 0.36 faster.
It just seems that it's less worth it to run speed perks instead of perks that did not get weaker. I can't tell if stacking perks with new default speed is worth it as it doesn't seem to reach the critical mass of not letting survivors reach a new loop.

  11. Yeah, this is literally the case of 1 second is 1 second too long

Its still basically the current DH, the only difference is that this new DH doesn't cross distance quickly.

Cause from the looks of it, even though it doesn't give you that speed boost of current DH when using it, that 1 second of invulnerability still makes you cross the same distance as current DH, but just at normal speed, but, like I said, the 1 second makes up for it.

Because I think, and if this is the case, then this really shows BHVR has no clue what they are doing, but I think current DH makes you cross its distance in .5 seconds, while this new DH still makes you cross the same distance, but at normal speed in 1 second instead.

If they really want DH to be used more "skillfully" and not just for distance, they need to put the invulnerability duration down to .5 second

  12. It doesn't even really matter if you could DH while vaulting or dropping a pallet. Because now it's a survivor-sided mindgame every time. You're chasing a survivor and they're approaching a window or pallet–you either hit them, risking giving them a free speed boost without using the pallet, or you let them have the pallet or window. So instead using DH to drop pallets, now it can actually result in the pallet NOT being dropped and the survivor still getting away. People will get used to the timing, and it will be incredibly annoying. That, and hitting a random survivor who happens to have Endurance from when they were unhooked over a full minute ago.

  13. How is that problematic? So killers can camp basement which is just a lazy way of playing the game cause they cba to play it properly 😂 such a bias attitude it’s incredible.
