Is Texas Chainsaw Massacre BETTER Than Dead By Daylight?

Is tcm better than dbd. I’m not trying to crown dead by daylight as the greatest asymmetrical horror game, however it is the most successful. Is Texas Chainsaw Massacre lead solely by the sawyer family enough to become the new king of asymmetrical horror games? In this video I go speculate over whether tcm has the gameplay, replayability, and community to bring it to the top.

  1. I like how you explained how it's not the games fault for people sucking at the game. You worded it right, as for me I give 2 knucks less about what crybaby snitches say. They killed me 😢. I'm just like why cry about it? It's part of the game. Yeah, I get about being mad at a trolling killer or survivor. But look at it this way. They'll get trolled too in just a matter of time. Everyone does. Don't let that ruin your experience. Keep gaming and having fun

  2. my honest take on dbd vs tcm i dont really care for dbd it never clicked with me so many things are wrong with that game the main thing is getting hit down in 2 hits which is a severe turn off to me but in tcm the game gives you options on how to play not just tiny perks with a slight improvements but in tcm you feel the improvements in my opinion more asymetrical games should be like tcm and in all honesty gunmedia know how to make asymetrical games and dont get mad when i say this dbd is a pretender to the throne haha

  3. Not only is TCM better but F13 was also better than DBD and it wasn’t even close. The F13 content is how I found most the streamers I watch. Their F13 gameplay was always more fun.

  4. I’m not trying to be a negative Nancy or anything but I’ve gotta say Texas Chainsaws graphics are extremelyyy disappointing. I don’t take graphics too seriously but the shit legit looks like a damn ps3 game lol

  5. Personally, I want dead by daylight to die. At this point it’s an overrated game, and as the guy said himself in the video, the only thing that’s kept it going was DLC‘s if you took away all the DLC‘s the gameplay with quickly become repetitive and extremely boring, I want this game to kill dead by daylight the game is gone on long enough. The greedy bastards have made enough money with their over priced DLC‘s and outfits which amazingly are the most expensive things in the game and overall I find the game to be extremely unhealthy regardless, if I can keep my cool, I can’t stop how it affects me

  6. I don't even have to watch this vid, I can tell all of you it's not and I haven't even played Texas Chainsaw massacre. You don't need to play it to know. DBD just has waaay more depth in it's gameplay.

  7. dbd is carried by licenses. It is so shit. TCM is way more fun and is like an actual horror game. Its not about looping in circles and faking vaults like dbd. Rather, its about stealth.

  8. I think this game has potential to dethrone dbd. Only because a team of survivors can go head to head with a team of killers. This puts tcm in its own league.

  9. can people not compare these two games its really horrible for the game health we have seen it before like in vhs and last year. TCM is so different from dbd there not only is no use is comparing them but it may hurt tcm in the long run i will never understand these kinds of videos

  10. I'm excited for TCM to come out on Thursday. Although I'll continue playing both games, it'll be nice to have a change of pace and try something different from dbd.

  11. TCM will die within a month. Every single other game that's supposed to have killed off DBD has failed miserably, and TCM will be no different especially since it's not like they can stray away from the license or anything like that, so will get boring very quickly. I hope TCM and its players enjoy the 4 weeks of its relevancy but trying to say it'll take DBD's crown is the height of delusion and stupidity. Lol.

  12. DBD has all the licenses but at the end of the day it still plays the same and its the same boring shit over and over for 7+ years. Nothing new, even when a new killer is released, every killer is pretty much a mix match of killer kits abilities. The fact TCM Family members can group up as a team is more of a reason TCM is looking better. However we really cant compare them, why cant we just enjoy both and let them both strive. Of course DBD stans are gonna trash this game because its competition. This game will last more then 3 months with more family, victims, maps, perks, outfits and all that. Ive pre ordered and im ready on the 18th

  13. My biggest fear is that this game dies, i dont care if its gonna win any competition with dbd or anything like that, this is literally a whole ass game based around my absoloute favorite horror movie series of all time, its so damn cool and I'd absoloutely hate if it ended up dying like i heard friday the 13th did

  14. Tcm seems fun but I feel it’ll turn into something similar to dbd. For example dbd lost the “scary” factor after the first couple games, which I’d imagine will happen with tcm. Also every pvp game eventually becomes more and more competitive with time.

  15. DbD is trapped with very little options for either side while TCM has plenty of options for both sides. There are mini matches being played in a bigger match but TCM offers the relief of there being Teammates you can rely on, mostly for killer side, just by playing normally the killers can accomplish their objectives, they don't have to be prepared for the worst possible scenario, activate the traps, break a few loops and you're doing good.

DbD heavily swings things in favor of one of the sides even before any action is taken. The Map design is absolutly horrible. The visuals of the game are absolutly unacceptable and the lack of proper graphical options for years is mind blowing. Add to that the fact that they have massive game breaking bugs that take nearly a full year to correct and DbD becomes a very very frustrating experience.

The main reason DbD has survived is because of the Licences. Myers saved it in 2016 and Ghostface and Stranger Things saved it in 2019. After that it was 2 full years of Ranged Killers and manny manny issues with cheaters and very serious bugs.

The worst fear i have for TCM is that it gets optimized way too quickly and the Devs are forced to make Balance changes without being ready or having enough time to properly test them. Killer variety isn't an issue when there's 3 of them in every match, meaning every player has to engage them and play as them to fully understand them. So even if you're playing against a weaker Bubba, the Cook and the Hitchhicker can still make things very hard and Bubba can then focus on destroying loops or catching trapped survivors.

That's something DbD doesn't have, either Survivors are steamrolling kilers or the killer got an easy match, there's no inbetween because of of how bad the population disparity for the roles is. And the skill required to play DbD is very low to begin with so it's very hard to find exceptionally good killers. While in TCM there will definetly be groups of friends playing as killers and they'll be alot more effective or they'll be alot more goofy (when they're drunk).

  16. Me personally i don't think TCM is trying to compete with DBD. TCM is trying to be his own thing but with that said as someone who played DBD for 3 years and a half (and rage quit that obnoxious game and thank god for that) i can say that TCM is much better. DBD doesn't need a competitor because DBD is destroying itself.

  17. I don't believe it'll hit DbD levels. There's too much content in DbD to truly compete. That said I do believe it will be a consistently popular alternative. It's biggest strength imo is it's different enough that it'll be a DbD pallet cleanser. Meaning when you burn out on DbD you'll play TCM for a while. Then when you hit TCM burnout you head back to DbD. Rinse and repeat.

  18. This game stands no chance against dbd, this game will probably fall off in a couple months just like vhs. everyone was loving that game then a few months later everyone is saying its trash, people saying its Gunna overcome dbd is just stupid
