  1. I honestly think that stopping regression on a gen should take a full second of repair rather than a tiny touch. Don't speed kicking up, slow stopping a kick down.

  2. I use to think killer was ez but now I know better and I encourage more survivor mains to try there hand at killer its alot more fun and challenging then Pressing one button on a gen

  3. A survivor main once told me on facebook that killer is easy, and there's nothing skillful about breaking pallets all game 🤣 Well atleast they admitted there are too many pallets lol.

  4. The first 2 mins is everything that's wrong with DBD. She just ran from one pallet to the next. Except for one loop there was no mind game potential. People wonder why anti loop killers are meta.

  5. Killer is easy, play the way Tru3 does, just tunnel and camp, what’s hard about that? Tru3 seems more perplexed by the fact that people do not like or respect it.

  6. I think it should be you hit the gen with either the regular attack or a special attack so there is some kind of slow down so the survivor mains dont cry to much about it

  7. It’s amazing how quickly our egos get triggered in pvp games. Asymmetric games may be the pinnacle of that because they have a ‘power’ role. The individual in that role ‘has’ to win or it has a negative impact on their self esteem.

These games devolve into a win at all cost mentality. The consequences of losing opens up the psychological sense of failure. No one wants to feel like a failure. Thus, we protect our egos and sweat for a win to insulate ourselves from having to confront our own insecurities.

Yet, everyone immediately jumps back into a match, hoping to get that dopamine hit of success. All that emotional energy is poured into an activity with very little societal impact.

Big picture thought…I truly wonder how healthy this actually is for us? Maybe the practice is needed. There are very few dragons to slay in modern culture. Perhaps this is a needed part of the human experience. Our physiology demands challenge and competition. We must fight…something. Or perhaps it’s a reflection of how un-evolved we are? We long to destroy a rival, to assert dominance over someone else. This secures that we are the strongest beast in all the land.

I’d be curious if there is something to be learned about ourselves from the behavior we display in competitive games?

  9. i think it would be perfectly fine for the killers to have an insta-kick on generators. Make it work like hex:pentimento ,where the killer just presses the button and the generator starts regressing. Maybe add an animation of entity spikes erupting out from the top of the generator to smack it for the killer.

  10. Survivor raises a good point, for every survivor in a swf there should be a penalty such as a 5% slower gen speed for the survivors in the swf. As much as the game should be balanced around competitive, it also needs to retain solo playability

  11. Base regression from kicking a gen should be the same as base survivor repairs. BHVR clearly doesn't like regression though. Nerfed every regression perk except COB. That'll be next I'm sure.

  12. You know what I never thought about until now? If the killer is in first person, why aren't the survivors also in first person? That would genuinely make the game much more immersive and scary to play as a survivor. Imagine whilst doing a generator you could barely look over your should or past the gen, not to mention how close your head is to the gen would make the audio very loud.

  13. As an older Legion player, I think they buffed him too much to the point of being braindead. I didn’t play him after the Add on rework (because I was occupied with other games), and Came back and played a lot of survivor to only see that he has no counter play involved.

Old Legion took skill to play, because he was the most M1 Killer next to Myer, but now pallets literally mean nothing to him: you can body block them then Fatigue for a guaranteed down (now that its shorter), and you can guarantee a hit no matter what.

As much as I think a buff was necessary to make him a more appealing pick on the killer select screen, they pushed him in a direction I personally hate to where now you can guarantee a 3k easily with little thought or skill

  14. Once again, it is way less than "Four times faster" than what we are getting base at patch. Please stop being disingenuous about that. +40% action speed IS NOT THE SAME AS 4 times more than a -10% base action time.
