Well the event ? reskined cake , reskined items and some reskined crowns this is not even a work the reskins they can make this thing literally in 1 day lol just give us normal events
Personally when it comes to letting people of crowns Escape I don't with really it's more so a matter of if someone impresses me with they're just general scaled the game including things like looping, prediction, ability to stay hidden, etc. Emily the last person alive then I will let them go if I get them on the ground and we can just kind of knowledge that I did get the 4K but I'm letting them Escape cuz I feel they either earned it or they had a shity as hell team and I feel bad for them. Personally though if someone is trying to farm for crowns and is purposefully standing in front of me or pulling off stupid dumb shit like that then I will not be kind and let them Escape just because they do things like either bring Bloody party streamers which if you want to farm and get me to let you escape then bring a four-man Swift that every single one of you brings bloody party streamers or cakes because then at that point I'll get enough of blood plant Bruce that I kind of just stand there and let you just Farm Chase's off of me. Really ultimately I hate farming since I already don't necessarily like to play the game and a little bit I do enjoy of the game is at least playing it properly
The only thing I'm upset about is cakes being bugged for me. I'm not getting the right amount of blood points I should be getting. Had a game with 4 cakes. Got 17k bp from the game, and then in total got 22k. With 4 cakes I should've gotten way more.

I think this event coming in the middle of the extreme lagging, freezes, and game crashing pissed players off to the point where they are taking it out on others. Personally I think a large majority of community from content creators to the casual gamer is becoming increasingly immature that I don’t even want to play anymore.
The best part about this event is the fact its almostt over and we still havent even reached the first milestone yet
You guys think they are wasting this extra time on more cosmetics. But, I think they are using this extra time to make something which will bring back the players when they all leave to play the new games that are coming out. Just like they did when the DS nerf happened.

You kinda lost a lot of respect in this video to be fair. I hate people who think I should give them mercy. Entitlement, and that is what you are supporting in this video. The best thing about this event is that it utterly exposes the toxic behavior of people, and I'm not talking about killers. The event is made to be played alongside the game, not to hold hands and farm. This isn't a casual game, it is a competitive one. No one is going to guilt trip me into letting them have fun at my expense. And in the end, the disparity with crowns in this even comes from unclear win conditions.
I don’t mind if killers wanna try hard, but getting face camped/ tunneled and having randoms DC every game is NOT fun. ( I solo q a lot ) like I get if a survivor is actually toxic and t bags and clicks and points and whatever, but I don’t do that and still get faced camped by every red rank killer like 😭
I wish I could even play the event. I spent an hour watching the menu turn into a rave, played 1 match in stop motion, and got stuck in the end match loading screen before it disconnected.
Saying that dbd is fair is like saying skyrim is perfectly balanced.

Quite honestly i think survivors should get the crown even if they die as long as they pick it up. Funny enough you get the crown unlocked message if you have it when you die you just dont actually unlock it. I play both sides pretty evenly probably killer slightly more, this change really needed to be implemented

If you have a old gen console guys I I reccomend this and my lag stopped no cap I have a old gen it stopped lag on other games also it's a good investment get a ethernet cable there 5 or 10 bucks!
I have not been farming, but I have been giving hatch to survivors with crown partials.
Even without farming I'm getting like 100-120k per killer game and 60-100k survivor.
I have no hope for the halloween event. With BHVR I expect the worst and hope I'm wrong. Most of the time I'm right -.-
I already mentioned the issue that you have to escape to get the crowns during the 4th anniversary, but see what the Devs did: nothing.
i also "like" how they waited so long to give us the next "challenge" even if almost 5times the amount of crowns we needed were already obtained. and even tehn you'll need to enter that stupid code.
I really miss something like the winter event from 2018, where there wasn't much, but you had 3-4 firecrackers + 10 gift boxes every Lv50 web. now it's just 1 event item/offering per web + 1-2 additional items/offerings.
btw. those old firecracers were never seen again…..

The reason survivors need to survive is likely due to the fact if they didn't, many would grab the crown and stop playing the match
Yea I was talking about this last year. Why are the licensed characters allowed to grab crowns if they don't get the cosmetic? It only gives 250bp for grabbing the crown so that's out of the question. If they won't people that play licensed characters to be able to get 250bp they should automatically give them 250bp at the beginning of the trial as soon as the match starts.
My mercy for this event only extends to not slugging for the 4k. Spending a match farming is the most boring experience ever. I may be greedy for currency but I play the game to have fun, not to work for game money.
Why are crowns only allowed of default head pieces? I fimd it stupid I can't use it with MY OWN OUTFIT I BOUGHT A WHILE AGO
I dont always agree with you, but I 100% agree with the current state of this one. The killer experience since the event has started has been horrible. I just want to have fun and not run a million gen-regression perks. Survivors just blow through gens like no tomorrow to get the crowns and stuff. The game is zero fun at the moment.
Hi, as a hag player I like to see you set up your web in the Begining, that way I can learn New spots and techniques. So pls dont cut that part out!
Lets not forget abt the fact that people will tunnel you and camp you just for taking the crown
Also apparently, getting a crown again on a character doesn't count further towards the rewards, so the couple million extra crowns people unlocked won't count towards the other reqards
But is the solution to fix the event or the game itself???

personally i think survivor that picked up a crown but didn't escape should be given the option to spend 500 or 1k shards to buy the crown as long as they picked it up during the match making it fair this is my option dont hate me for making it easy for survivor

The halloween event is gonna be just as bad as last year i bet, theres gonna be some cool skins but little to nothing else, they said they were putting more into these events and honestly im yet to any of that work paying off from this anniversary, its more or less what we had before again. Sure the BPs nice but not what id expect from BHVR when they said they're putting "more effort" into their two flagship events.
Well I’ve had a pretty decent experience. Almost no dc ( sure some ) and rarely a cunty killer since everyone wants points . It the lag and overall unplayability on console kills me rn .

Was playing with my Friends the other night and we got into a game and started to play normally and noticed the killer was afk so we popped 4 gens and then all went to the killer just to get some more points. About 3-5 mins go by and the killer starts attacking so we think okay he's back maybe he wants to farm too and decided to let him hit us to get his hooks and stuff. He continues to slug us all at the same time and then hooks us all at once. He later told us that he was letting us farm and then just decided to kill us. I was so mad. If you wanna farm that's cool, I don't mind helping you farm too but if not then just play the damn game.

My suggestion is to separate normal gameplay and event so like 2 separate lobbies like a gamemode
It's a shame. I too agree that the best community event we ever had was with the breaking pallets and the grabs, etc. It was a lot of fun and we never had it ever again. 😥
