I agree every killer should be equally strong in their own way before we start addressing the balance between survivors and killers.
Agreed, a "good" match as Hillbilly will usually be like 2K for me. On my strongest Killers a 2K feels embarrassing.

I don't think it's possible to make every killer equally matched in power, they are too varied to do that. But at the same time, there is way to big of a gap between the S tier killers to even the like…B-C tier killers. And I feel like a lot of the lower tier killers could easier just have some of their powerful add-ons shifted onto their basekit to help. A killer shouldn't be required to run add-ons just to keep up.
And if you think about the top tier killers, a lot of them are good because their power is good in traversing/pressuring the map and for chasing. But a lot of the lower tier killers are left with like…their power is only kinda good at one or the other. This isn't helped by the fact that a lot of maps are way too fckin big. A killer like Trickster might be good at downing someone despite being at a loop, but if he needs to be on the other side of Mother's Dwelling, he's kinda shit out of luck. If they would just fix the maps to be a decent size and stop using breakable walls as a way to essentially give survivors infinites/god setups unless you spend the time breaking 10 walls, that would go a long way to helping out a lot of the killers.
That and the fckin hit validation nonsense. Those changes mainly hurt a lot of the basic M1 killers. They already have to work hard to get a hit in, denying that hit so consistently just makes it hurt even more.

Clown shouldn't be as good as blight as he takes 0 skill to play compared to blights high skill ceiling. The problem you would get with trying to change the game in this way is that some killers will fall out of gameplay in general. Billy is never really played anymore since bubba is almost always the better pick and way easier to play. Why learn nurse when wraith is just as good. It doesn't make sense
