As a somewhat knight main, I think the backwater swamp is one of the best maps for him, I have found the most sucess in that game.
General rule for new killers. If your chases exceed 30 seconds and you haven't gotten an injure, drop chase and find someone else. If your 2nd survivor chase is the same way then eat the loss and move on unless they get stupid altruistic or make dumb mistakes end game.

Dead hard should be one time use – survivors shouldn’t have infinite second chances, BT base should only be active when a killer is within 8 meters of the hook, and get rid of all of the safe pallets. I agree – too much hand holding for survivors. OR, they can add environmental things for survives to interact with to regain those buffs. However, it takes them off gens and isn’t a freebie. What y’all think?

this is why i find the game so terrible now – Survivor gameplay is easy, monotonous and boring. the only "thrill" is literally the enjoyment of denying the killer any game play and Killer is utterly frustrating, unfun, and too much of a sweat fast. 30 second chases hurt you let along 60 to 80. and EVERY slow down perk for kill has been nerfed or made redundant yet Survivors get base-kit bs, second chance perks, and perks that reward their mistakes. We have 20 or so killers in the game, and only Blight and Nurse (once skilled enough) can actively beat good survivors. You have to hope and pray they make too many mistakes or be super altruistic and hand the victory to you on a silver platter. This game is just.. bad right now.. like really bad…
