So there’s some indication this “Masters of Horror” Collection of NFT’s may not be as legitimate or as licensed as they claim. Things seem fishy at best. The Boss Protocol Inc and the EGMNow writers of the news story about this collection of NFT’s share the same business address? Is it even a real office?

In this video we’re going to try to explain exactly what an NFT is and why people think they are bad. Don’t ask me to explain why people buy them, I have no explanation for that. I don’t think they are a good value.

Then we’ll scrutinize the players involved in the press releases about this collection of NFT’s and try to determine who is who and if there’s any shadiness involved, and any potentially unwilling and/or unwitting parties attached to this

  3. I was an avid NFT collector of WWE trading cards. I thought it was a great thing…. Then go stupid to buy these web cards from eBay. It was the "collect everything" phase I was in as an old dude. It's too much money to digital items. Yet, I occasionally buy DLCs and in-game cosmetics. Gosh…. DbD don't close down because I want my collection to last forever. 😆 😆 😆 😆

  4. Heard these nft things in other game community too before.
    It is very likely something do with money laundering and tax evasion. Better stay away this shady thing.

    Edit: This is why things sold at ridiculous price for random stuff if there is nothing involve shady activity.

  5. Pieces of land in virtual environments, basically is Second Life. Real companies can purchase it, and both offer services and advertise the company to players. Since Second Life has a currency system that can convert real dollars to it's currency, and vice versa. The land can be designed as virtual real estate, and be an extension of the company and it's assets.

  7. Now that i think about it the renders of Pinhead looks like someone was using his model in Source Filmmaker.

    Which means that every asset they were using was free in advance so try to scam people of their money.

  9. I don't think anyone actually bought those "Mint" Pictures. On top of the Fraud they already committed with the fake partnership, I think they said it to entice more people to buy it as fast as possible before it runs out.

  19. It definitely seems like this is a scam. I don't think DBD would be doing this as it could cost them a lot of fans and players of their game, especially if this was a form of highjacking the voice lines of pinhead. My question is, does this suggest that the Evil Dead game is also a scam, or is that where these nft people have truly crossed a line into criminal activity and hacked a legitimate person's information to bolster their scam?

  25. This makes me wonder if I should upload some of my artwork ( or make some on my PC.. Though I prefer working on physical stuff ) and sell it that way.. ( And.. Yes I have done Hellraiser artwork but that was more for fun for me when I was a teen.. Of course I never sold it. I did sell a unicorn piece that I would have to make again as I never just photocopy or anything like that. I do not like taking shortcuts with my stuff. )

    I have to take my hellraiser artwork back a bit. I was younger than being a teenager when I did that. It was the head part of Doug Bradly's character. While I have got complements I see where I made a lot of mistakes.. And it was early in my life when I made it. ( It was the same for a time I decided to draw a Wraith with a scythe. I was a teen though for sure when I decided to make a inking of one version of the Diablo 2 game's cover. Still not really happy with it but I can say I did get better at that point… )

  32. I am also very skeptical about the statement at 12:00 that they claim BHVR will say something on Monday. Not only for the reasons you state, but (as you also mentioned) Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving and everyone at BHVR will be out celebrating the holiday. Sure, it could be a scheduled tweet or news article, but it seems like an odd day to announce something surrounding such a big license with nobody around to oversee it.
