Dude, I’ve been playing on Xbox One for 4 years now (level devotion 21) and the game is literally at it worst which is fucking sad because I’m a huge RE fan. I’ve been playing the RE franchise for about 16 years now and when I heard about the RE chapter you can only imagine how hyped I was. But even now the game is basically unplayable. When I tell you everything makes the game freeze/spike out I mean EVERYTHING! When I play survivor I can’t even run the killer anymore because every little thing lags the game out. When you get in chase with the killer the game lags out so bad and freezes the killer gets SO MANY free hits/downs on me because of the lag spikes. When you get hit my Sloppy Butcher it’s like your game just pauses and then resumes and by that time you’re down. Getting off a gen when the killer has ruin will lag the game out, using any exhaustion perk will lag the game out. Completing gens will lag the game out. Cleanings totems lags the game out dude I mean EVERYTHING lags the game out. The killer side is no better. I thought maybe it would be as bad but you can’t play any killer and use their power without the game stalling out. Whenever a survivor uses Dead Hard the whole game will freeze and by the time it resumes the survivor is already gone or made it to the pallet/vault. I love DBD I’ve put so much time in the game but they’re making me fucking regret it every day. They don’t give a shit about console players and it shows. Can’t play the event because no matter how good you are at the game the lag always screws ya’ over. Like the killer/survivors can be dog shit you’re versing and it DOESN’T MATTER!!! They will still kill you/escape just because the game is shit for console. Thank you for being this issue to everyone’s attention!!!
I think the narrative that Console is unplayable is a little less than true. It’s definitely a narrative that is true but over exaggerated. I’m on Xbox One with Spectrum Wifi. I play the game everyday with my other Xbox friends. We can play it we even get the need RPD map a lot in live games. If you rely on Deadhard all the time to do anything then yes the game is broken.
Console players- Can you please fix the performance issues with the game.

I clearly don't understand how they could not come out with a hot-fix. It's been three weeks since the chapter, what the hell have they been doing? At this point they actually owe us an explanation as to why there's no fix on console lag/fps. This is an example of how to not run a business, and since they are technically a small company because they only have one big selling game, I'm surprised they haven't been bought out by a bigger company who actually knows what the fuck they're doing. Sorry but this is genuinely upsetting.

With how many bugs there are and how much the community is wanting them to do a health chapter, it makes absolutely no sense for them not to. They have absolutely nothing to lose from improving the quality of the game, and would probably gain new players from all the praise they'd get for fixing the game. I guess they'd rather make more money than fix the game, sadly
I don't remember the exact words but they say once that they will release a new chapter every 3 months, someone ask them why don't just skip 1 chapter and do a healthy update, they say NO.
This game is a joke. I can’t do literally anything without getting frame or lag issues. I’m just getting crowns as Killer, then afking till match is over.
"Stop EVERYTHING untill current chapter is PERFECT". I can see this be a major impossibility in terms of licensed stuff. They basically have a contract with another company. They can't just say "hey fuck you, we gonna do our own first", cuz this will most likely cost them a lot of licensed stuff. Because, let's face it, they are also companies. Wether you want/like it or not, licensed stuff will just be an issue for that idea (Which is why I think licensed stuff should just have a seperate department of people working on that.) but in terms of original content; 100% agree.
Devs are just clowns in the Behaviour circus. I play on ps4 pro and game is literally almost unplayable. Pretty good job so far.

Such a shame this community is so passionate and the devs just aren't.
I think this is going too easy on them. What we can do is get them to do both. We can get consistent content and quality content. We don't have to choose 1 of them. We need to push them to use more money on the game or hire more or better people and we can get both. I think releasing less content is gonna keep the newest content better sure but at the same time the game will get stale quicker with how long it might take sometimes to fix a killer then move on to the next thing. We need to get both and we can, just need to push them a little bit.
1 – charge more for costumes
2 – make more bugs and weaker killers
3 – make it harder to grind for blood points
4 – make Mandy talks the finial boss for dbd
