In today’s video, we are going to be countering stealthy survivors in Dead by Daylight! A lot of us really appreciate a good chase in DBD, but what happens when survivors don’t want to be chased?
I have nothing against stealthy survivors, we’ve all been there. In fact, in some cases it’s by far your best play. As long as you are purposely delaying the match in a completely lost game, I don’t mind. But I do much more appreciate the tag part of this game vs the hide and seek part.
I decided to approach this problem a few different ways. The first being the commonly used perk distortion, where I make a build against tracking perks that distortion doesn’t counter. Next, I decided to overwhelm my opponent with aura to always know where they are, and to eat through all their tokens quickly. And finally, I decided to play a bit of their own game, where I counter stealth with some stealth of my own! These are all viable methods, but the best way in my opinion is to use aura (at least on Huntress)

I was shown the hatchet at 8:00 by @NymAM! However @SquirtleSurgeon actually has a very similar lineup. They are definitely a pioneer in orbital hatchets, and they hit far more than I do, so please check them out too
