The new Dead by Daylight’s mid-chapter patch is even worse than we thought! This update is a complete technical disaster. Starting with some terrible balancing decisions – the nerf of Call of Brine & Scourge Hook Pain Resonance. The framerate for DBD has been locked to 60fps, I lost my 400k bloodpoints out of nowhere & the game is laggier than ever!
The only saving grace for this update is Bloodweb improvements, Dead Hard’s nerf & the nerf of Circle of Healing & Med Kit nerfs.

I found out that the green medkit no longer heals yourself faster anymore
FPS was fine but the update no bueno killers at my mmr are playing it to the max which is fine, looks like I’m only playing w swf now
The update made my ps5 lagging like crazy, every 10secs the fps would linger to like 12fps

I think I will. Camping was already a thing but I’d never thought I’d see the day that GEN CAMPING became a thing. That and the toxic players I see everyday is the last straw. Uninstalled now. So long dbd. Good riddance.

The framerate issues your talking about how it went down ti 62 frames seems petty, It's probably supposed to get things closer to console and since next gen isn't that widely used they lowered it down to be more fair. The only big issue it The lag thingy, I haven't had it happen to me but it looks bad
Weird how ps5, pc got all these bugs but the ps4 didn't get affected at all by any of what you just mentioned

They have changed the config folder but I suppose you already fixed the issue with the fps cap yourself?

i manage to play with 120 fps again, you just have to do the config thing for both nowindowsedit and windows folder with configs for dbd

What are you on about? Only survivor mains were whining about this update, and they've mostly adjusted already and many have said it's actually fine (except vs nurse, something needs to be done). Even the most annoyingly negative over-reactive content streamer on this platform has released a video saying they have no complaints, which has to be a first.
If it's 'unplayable', then by all means please quit playing it. As for the majority of the community, they'll adjust and soldier through because most of them understand that this game is constantly being changed and any one patch of issues isn't anything to cry over.
Furthermore, BHVR has improved by leaps and bounds compared to the first 5 years of its life. Anyone who has somehow missed this obvious fact either lacks the context you get by having been here from the beginning, or are the sort of people to just dump on the devs for the sake of it. Nobody cares about, respects, or listens to the latter.
