Showcasing the new dead man’s switch that was added to the live servers today with the update. I know I didn’t talk about this much in the patch note review, but holy hell is it actually insanely OP now that I got my hands on it. Enjoy the showcase.

  1. 30:00 So what most likely happened is that the Cheryl had held onto the gate for ~32% which is just below the first red light that turns on (the next two I believe on 66% and 99%). The Cheryl then waited to see you come up to check on the gate, and the moment they saw you turn your back to go to the other one they hopped back onto the gate and opened it and escaped.

  2. You should do this build but swap no way out for ruin.
Nobody will be back to their blocked gen in time to catch the ruin regression.
That will stop you having to worry about getting consecutive hooks.
The artist can protect her ruin totem with those birds too.

  3. How about pairing it with Ruin, Plaything and Pentimento? I remember you doing a video on 5 Pentimento stacks – but it would happen so late into the game, that it didn't really offer much value. This looks like it would make a pretty nasty combo with it.

  4. For tofu’s question on if regression still gets applied on blocked gens. Only instant regression gets lost on blocked* gens. Regression over time from just kicking a gen or by ruin is paused until the gens becomes unblocked.
