Ay we’re doing some gameplay for the new chapter, which is on the PTB. This killer “The Dredge” is a heckin horror monstrosity but is actually really fun to play, and is also pretty fun to go against as well. Gameplay is tough to get on PTB but we tackle both sides to try to showcase it as best as I can.

Why would people even bother with PTB if they don’t wanna face the new killer?

also, I'm with you on the surv vids, not long gone over 1k hours in this game and I'm starting to get bored playing solo survivor, killer is just more fun and challenging.
He can act as if this is the best thing ever for dbd but this game is dying the devs killed it and now they actually have competition. Get used to the 45 minute q times. They also look like they ran out of ideas. This looks dull as hell.

This killer is high tier A definitely, maybe even S
He has a strong chase ability, the best map control in the game, great mobility and also Nightfall that is mediocre but really buffs your power
As strong as PH, better than Hag, Artist, Oni, Twins, Huntress and every other killer
I suggest you do those type of videos with your viewers, as you will get people to actually que up with you that way you won't have to wait for over 1 hour for a game, and you will get more social interaction if you're into that kinda stuff 🙂 all in all love your content <3

So basically base kit legion would apply a 10% hindered penalty until that survivor fully mends.
This one buff would be good for legion in many ways. Applying deep wounds to multiple survivors gives more indirect slowdown by survivors who need to mend take longer to get to unhooks, get to other objectives.
This would actually help legion in chase because the survivors would be slower transitioning from tile to tile discouraging hold forward gaming! And would add more depth so the survivors would have to memorize the distances you can loop from with that movement penalty and to be less risky after the legion frenzy hits them.
This would give the legion a reason to use frenzy on injured survivors to make the chase out of frenzy easier. And this would also incentivise legion mains to feral frenzy even against a deep wounded survivor. Since the deep wounded survivor is slower running head of them in feral and canceling it is easier. And frenzy could even be used as a catch up tool to a deep wounded survivor since survivors will get less distance during the fatigue cooldown due to the slowdown.

the new chapter and entire anniversary stuff is all so exciting, but i am honestly more excited to see bhvr rework/change all those perks they mentioned. that is actually going to reinvent (hopefully) the way we all play the game and it's probably going to be great for overall game health. and OF COURSE i am thrilled over the announcement of a new RE chapter!
I have a feeling that The Onryo is gonna get a remake/buff soon.
It's not a lack of anti-loop that's his issue, it's how underwhelming his anti-loop is. Artist is the queen of anti-loop and the ruler every other killer will be measured by.
I was unimpressed when the leaks dropped, but this chapter is actually really cool. Interesting perks, interesting power, CRAZY good chase music. I know BHVR gives us a lot of reason to have doubts, but maybe this is a good sign of what’s to come?

I don’t like that they’re nerfing boons by just making another perk. They need to make it so circle of healing can’t stay up forever

I knew you played survivor because I ended up on your team once. 🙂 I liked seeing the survivor side of the gameplay for new content, so maybe that's an exception you can keep making for future chapters?
Dredge is yet another cool killer with every animation and concept around him being super awesome thematically… but trash gameplay wise. Again xD

On the Anniversary stream, I am honestly not okay with what they are doing with Mori. Removing the offering and making it so you automatically Mori the last surivvor when you down them in a special cutscene? No more doing a Mori on every survivor, no more choosing to give the last survivor the hatch? Nope it's just either let them get the hatch on their own or else close it and let them open the door… It's taking the choice to do a Mori or not out of our hands.

You mentioned playing survivor being boring and that you like to talk…seems like a great combo! Especially when you have a "rant" video – maybe that would be a good candidate for survivor gameplay? Though you would be distracted. Also, new boon perk + 5 stacks pentimento video??
I find that the 3 second delay on the perk that breaks pallets seems to prevent me from getting value in most situations.
Dissolution + infectious fright chase anyone who gets hit by infectious.
