Personally I wished they'd rework pig. They've nerfed her to the ground and she's has not many viable builds and often just resort camping and tunneling.

Im happy furtive chase is being revamped it does look like it’ll be good especially on high mobility killers however only working in the obsession definitely makes it inconsistent but still undetectable is an insanely good status and there aren’t many perks that apply it very well

Very good analysis there.
However, when you were talking about Furtive Chase, you probably overlooked the fact that you can't really chain the furtive chases as you were implying – after all, the obsession needs to get unhooked in order for you to get a new obsession to hook (who you then need to down) and that probably won't be happening within 18 seconds (unless one proxy camps with an instadown or something) – so you cant use the haste to start chasing the obsession. But I do agree with your take about it rewarding you for hooking different survivors, and it does seem to be a very useful tool to at least make up for lost time (from hooking) on your next chase – if not getting a few surprise hits you otherwise wouldnt get.

I'm really excited about furtive chase. A while back, I was experimenting with Game afoot, brutal strength, furtive chase and pop but wasn't seeing much success with it, new life is being breathed into the idea and I can try again!
8:31 It's not a problem they are using the radius formula which is used by boons, terror radius, and others. Terror radius has a collision zone with no collision with environment box and for that it works through walls. However if they used a plane that goes x meters around survivor this would stop that (they did it for the drones). So this is most likely not a bug or error.

Trapper is slowly becoming more powerful as we go. These changes for him are fantastic, good for Evan. Good for Evan.
"Anti camping" mechanic is on the same stupid level as every survivor having unbreakable.
Spawning with all his traps would make trapper problematic, behavior has said this, that is why the add on that let's this happen has a downside of you cnt replace your traps n it's a purple add on, so unless behavior changes their mind this won't happen

I am so hyped for the Furtive Chase rework. I don’t even have the perk, but it just makes me so happy that they stopped trying to bandaid a fundamentally broken concept, and instead gave it a rework that stays true to the perk’s identity while also not being completely worthless

If DBD actually listened to their playerbase, they would have nerfed Blight's busted add ons and reworked Nurse long time ago. Just because they put a couple plasters on the sore spots doesn't mean they actually listen. They've been doing the bare minimum for years.
Funny thing is Otz specifically asking for that Trapper change too. If your traps can at least spawn near gens so you don't waste your time to go to the edge of the map or bad locations to get them

Idk why they won't just let him have his traps but make it where you can't pick up till they're all out and then you can only carry so many after that.
I'm so happy about the furtive chase rework
The problem with Trapper spawning with or carrying too many traps is that it would encourage too boring of gameplay. If we just have Trapper get all traps he will likely become Hostage Merchant 2.0 and set traps on all gen spots, then kick and reset disarmed traps while bringing Overcharge+Eruption, set speed and disarm speed add-ons. No one wants that, but that is what you will get if you ask for 'spawn with all traps'. It also doesn't have to be the gen spots, it can be the doorways to the gen spots and so on, so this isn't exactly solved with a simple fix.
The better way to think of Trapper is set 1 trap every 2-3 loops. Then loop normally at the basic loop, to lull them into a false sense of security, break the pallet or fake setting a trap to get them to leave the loop and head to the trapped loop, then down them there.
These 7 seconds reflect the time most killers need to get out of the radius of the hooked survivor
Furtive chase might be my new favorite perk. Undetectable is my favorite status effect and this makes it a lot more common to acquire and fun to use. I also think in terms of lore this version of furtive chase makes more sense as a ghostface perk but that’s just me lol
Honestly make it so that the Trapper is able to camouflage his traps so that way his is not map dependent to be good, wit the caveat that the traps will only go invisible if the Trapper himself places and a small delay lets say 2.5 – 5 seconds.
New furtive chase, game afoot, rapid brutality, and play with your food will be my new speed build. The max speed with this build would be 30% which is no laughing matter. My old speed build use to have nemesis but furtive is better.
Furtive somehow becoming ultra meta out of nowhere has gotta be the most exciting thing to happen for the killer side since Xenomorph graced us with her caked up presence.
Also, maybe the Trapper change will be DRASTIC, guess we'll see how big of a difference it makes when the update goes live.
Back when i started playing in 2019 they actually didn't listen to us. All the PTB was, was just a way to advertise the latest chapter.
They really didn't listen to us. And some People are still stuck with that.
Also, some People call it "not listening to the community" when it actually means: "not listening to complains in the community that may have nothing to do with the current Patch"
For example: Blight Addons, MFT. They didn't address these issues in this Patch therefore they don't listen to the Community.
Even when they are probably working on a fix already for both of these issues but Chessmerchant was just a Bigger issue and it takes time to fix stuff and come up with solutions.

So does it not pose when a survivor is running the killer next to the hook witch if that’s the case thats dumb survivors should be punished for running the killer next to the hook not rewarded with a free deli but if that’s not the case and it poses with one survivor then forget this commit 🙂
an absolute W from behavior in this update. I can't wait to use all of these changes to sow chaos. Hell, the furtive chase buff makes me want to actually buy the ghostface.
I feel like the skull merchant changes aren’t going to be fun for survivors. Doesn’t seem like there will be any way to deal with her new abilities. It also seems to decrease what like amount of counter play she had, strictly form only judging what they’ve said in the patch without assuming to much.
TL;DR I’m worried she’ll be lame to go against.

We probably go back to killers that take 'skill' like Alien, Wesker, Nurse, Huntress, Blight.
