  1. for the dream pallets it states that it has a 1.5 second activation for Freddy where it's most likely a small area of effect in which it injures survivors, they don't get injured if they drop it, but it's a thing you activate

  2. Honestly, reading the patch notes reminds me of skull merchant and release Freddy. People will hate this. He is going to be a pup stomper. Like even currently, tons of Survivors don't know you can just wake up by failing a skill check. And now? I assumed the teleporting to healthy Survivors was to counteract people self caring to fail a skill check and wake up, but it will also punish Survivors who don't know that and just try to heal to regain a health state. Same for Dream Pallets injuring Survivors. Or the mysterious red spots along the ground.
He combines some of the generally most hated aspects of killer powers. Side Quests, Strong Anti-Loop, Confusing Abilities,. I don't think it will be Skull Merchant bad, but I wouldn't be suprised if this makes Freddy the second most hated killer in the game.

  3. The way I think the dream pallets work is the same way they always have, but it is sounding like Freddy has a way of activating his own standing dream pallets, sort of like a remote detonation. The way it is described makes it sounds like the blood geyser explosion is something Freddy controls, rather than what happens when survivors drop them. Say you're at a loop with a dream pallet and the survivor isnt dropping it, you can activate the pallet and 1.5 seconds later it will explode on its own, and if the survivor is within 3 meters of that explosion, they get injured. They said it could be done at any range, said that Freddy would activate them, and they didnt mention the survivor dropping the pallet, so it definitely seems to me at least that Freddy is basically using dream powers to detonate fake pallets like they're freakin c4 which is super cool

  4. Originally, I avoided buying Freddy at all costs. Now, after reading the patch notes, I am more than likely buying him should the update go through. Insanely exciting to see my boy fredson fingerclaws receive a full blown rework.

  5. So they took one of the worst killers, made him an absolute noob stomper, projectile-esque hinder that goes through walls, map mobility, base-kit anti heal mechanic and actual mines… yah he's getting the "medium update" treatment

  6. I'm a freddy main but haven't gotten him to P100 yet cause I don't play the game that often anymore. However, there's something I'd like to pick your brain about. The change to black box confuses me because the [NEW] effect is already how the addon works…. did behavior mess up? Also, will survivors get still get dream immunity that will last longer than the alarm clock cooldown?

Ps: I'm hyped AF about the red pait brush change. I've been using aura builds lately just to half-remember og Freddy's god like aura tracking lol.

  7. I hope they reverse the nerf they gave to chucky. I find the nerfs so unnecessary because it didn’t fix issue with chucky. Changing his addon rat poison could be a good idea. I just find making his cooldown longer man moving slower in slice and dice didn’t fix the problem why people were upset with chunky.

  8. I will be waiting here to you make a video with a good build to the new Freddy, a build that is good with him having some sinerges just like Singularity and Rapid Brutality, because you are one of the master with Freddy, and I know shit on how to play with him

  9. Dreamsnares will just be a pyramidhead skillshot that slows the survivors, which is what that means.

Also if you read the dev note carefully the dream pallets are like a planted bomb that you have to trigger ma ually and time it so u hit sleep survivors. Its not an insta injure after they drop it. It has a 1.5 sec trigger and 3 m radius.

Some notes as a p100 freddy myself: Him now having more tools within the dreamworld makes him an actual dream demon killer and makes survivors feel the urgency to get out asap. I do think that the clock immunity has to go away as it would leave survivors to be immune to dream for 30 seconds which makes the clock cd only 15 seconds in reality.

Additionally, his skillshot ability seems to be his primary on demmand chase ability, but if he gets slowed down himself while using it would seem less useful for this reason. However the pallet changes could mean that he now has more ways to manipulate chases in his favor.

My main concern is that leaving the dreamworld is a bit too easy seeing as failed skillchecks also work and you prefissed this too. I have to agree w u on that.

I still think they could do more with the dreamworld and make it harder and harder to get out of there until finally there is no escaping freddy towards the end of the game. This makes it more thematic aswell as rewarding to play him.

  10. I asked the same thing about the snare's moving on another YouTube video and a bunch of people chimed in and called me stupid and saying how stupid the dead by daylight community is and using me as an example. I was shocked so it's nice to hear people ask the same question and I know I'm not crazy

  11. I think most of his changes sounds great, but the teleporting to healing survivors sounds absurd. Feel like they slapped this ability on him to push him into A tier to make big bucks with him once they rework him and when they got enough money out of people, they will nerf him to the ground…

  12. from how i see it, snares will move in a straight line from where you placed that will travel very fast, which makes his snares actually dodgeable for the most part which is good. also im confused on the part where you relate freddys power will skull merchant and the annoyance of hinder, can you explain further on that part?

  13. I don't think you understand what the rework text was implying. Dream Snares are now a projectile, and if they hit a sleeping survivor they slow them, if they hit an awake survivor they only add time to the sleeping meter. Then dream pallets are now interactable by the killer which causes them to erupt in a 3m circle after 1.5 seconds. That is small and only really effects survivors trying to hug a pallet. Nothing in the text implies they go off after a survivor drops them, but rather the opposite where if the survivor knows a pallet is fake and refuses to drop it you can try and have it erupt on them to do damage.

  14. Alright as someone who actually knows how to read Some clarifications for you
Instead of letting them drop the dream palate , you can force it to Causing it to injure them If it does injure them it puts them to sleep
The snares will act like a shooting out like a net now In a straight line

  15. As a entitled survivor main I hate it already! 😂

Jokes aside, I’m actually excited to see this happen! I’ve recently gotten back into DBD and noticed a severe lack of Freddys. This’ll be a funny wake up (heh) call to the lower skill level players where I also currently reside.

  16. I'm pretty excited for these changes, I'm honestly feeling like he could be strong/good in higher tier or even decent lobbies and still theoretically be "Balance" but here is my concern for it though. Freddy probably will be an absolute noob/newer stomper which I think, correct me if wrong is a lot of the player base and will get him overly nerfed but hopefully behavior won't back pedal to much if that's the case. Also, I'd be down for gameplay centric vids or really anything you feel like posting. : )
