Hey everyone, I thought I’d do a quick video discussing some of the really positive changes that were announced with the year 5 anniversary stream. I’ll also give very brief thoughts on the new content and the end of the video.

The Resident Evil x Dead by Daylight chapter PTB is out and the new killer is Nemesis and survivors, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine. The Racoon City Police Department is the new map!

I haven't played it all yet, but I'm a bit worried about the Zombies, being something that can take the agency away from both survivors and killers in say a chase, or just give random times a survivor walks around a corner then gets downed because a zombie was there. If vaccines respawned and/or if there was some way to kill zombies on the go, maybe with flashlights? Then I would be much less worried

  2. I like the new mori system that was teased. This should make it more interesting and probably feel more deserved and satisfying.
    But I'm worried about the autoban. This WILL be abused against streamers and others because of toxicity since people report you for ridiculous reasons.

  3. if they not gonna change undying+ruin+devour then there is NO WAY I am gonna let the totems up.. I am sick of this sheep build.. and when you brake the totems killers just play like di*c*ks bc they lost 3 perks

  4. bots should not be a thing on normal games trust me its not fun to have a bot on your team unless they make them like normal players but i dont think thats really easy

  5. I hope they fix servers because I’m tired of waiting 20 to 30 min just to find a survivor game with friends but I’m looking forward to all of these new things but knowing this something is gonna be broken I already know lol

  6. Boon totems sounds like a fantastically fun idea, and I hope it'll tie in somewhat to the Imperiatti and the Pariahs. On that note, it would be awesome if Felix' Built to Last became a Boon perk, where you install it on a totem instead of cleansing it, and then any survivor can walk up to it with an expired item and take the Built to Last benefit, after which the totem collapses. That would potentially allow it to proc five times, but only if the survivors are playing risky.

  7. I feel like zombies should be tied to offerings, basically functioning like map offerings, where if more people bring the offering then zombies will appear, but if more bring the "no fuck you zombos >:(" offering then they won't appear during the trial

  8. So basically the game is made even more survivor sided. From moris taking one hook to two to bring eliminated. Trapping gens, and building flashbangs. Being able to use hex totems as buffs. At this point why not just turn it into an action horror game where the killer has to escape from a team of survivors turned hunters or something?

  9. A few clarifications on the zombies: They will only spawn IF Nemesis is the killer. They do not spawn on the map with ANY other killer. There is a maximum of two zombies on the map at any given time by default. Their lunge range is short and easy to dodge. The first hit you take from a zombie will infect you and not injure you. Nemesis has incentive to kill the zombies also, as he gains a small amount of infection after doing so.

  10. Bots in the original DbD? You don't want it. They're obviously too hard to play against if you don't know how to loop or glitch them, you can't even 360 them.
