This is quite possibly the best update BHVR has ever released for Dead by Daylight, literally ever.

  1. about dead hard, imo distance is not the problem. All exaustion perks, except head on, provides distance, the problem of dead hard is the ivulnerability. it is literally a panic button, you press it and become invencible for 0.5 seconds. after these changes you won't be able to juke killer's powers like doctor's blast and deathslinger's gun, but instead of 0,5s of ivulnerability you have 1s. And the distance gained is almost the same because you can run more while ivunerable than before, plus the fact that if the killer hits you, you'll get the speed boost and the killer will slow down to recover from the atack

  2. We're gonna live forever will be interesting with for the people… Excited to see
I just wanted them to change No Mither, like adding more benefits, but maybe this Iron Will nerf is a indirectly buff to No Mither, since now it's the only way to prevent grunts of pain

  3. I was wondering, will Circle of Healing be effected by the self care nerf? It uses the self care mechanics for self healing right now, including the healing speed, so I wonder if the lower healing speed of new self care will carry over to CoH.

  4. tbh the self care buff is pretty bad but i'm fine with it tbh, self care never annoyed me when i play killer and i like how it's forcing players who run it to use it in mediation, i think a better way to change it is to remove the healing speed reduction but it now has a charge time like a med kit but a perk so you can drain the perk out but doing things like gens or unhooks etc will bring back the self care bar

  5. I think ur overlooking how much 25 seconds is . its like having victor on for 25 seconds. increase the damage but make it only like it current amount of seconds incapacitated
Also calm spirit is listed as a buff when its clearly a nerd, ur not gonna cleanse of bless a totem so close to a killer that they can hear it

  6. I don't think Call of Brine + Overchanger will be 600%, I think what they mean by 100% to 400% is:
The regression starts at the normal speed, but it gradually become a 400% regression speed.
With that in mind, Call of Brine makes your normal regression speed to be 200% instead of the normal 100%.
So CoB + Overcharger will make your regression start at 200% instead of 100%, and gradually goes to 400%.

  7. I don't think you heal at 100% with COH and Botany again. Cause if I remember correctly, the healing speed bonuses weren't additive, but multiplicative. COH rn lets you self-care with a 50% faster healing speed, so your healing speed is 75% of the normal healing speed. With Botany on top, regardless of whether it's a flat 50% on top (125%) or not (112.5%), you would always heal faster than the normal healing speed.

Now what I don't know is whether the Self-Care nerf affects COH self-care. If it doesn't, then yes, Botany is going to be a problem with COH. But if it does, then you'll heal at 52.5% of the normal healing speed, so it would take you roughly 30s to heal yourself. With Botany, the healing speed goes up to 78.75%, so roughly 20s, basically Sloppy speed.

Also, I'm not completely sure if these numbers are correct, so please take what I said with a grain of salt.

  8. I dig most of the changes and this feels like a great step forward, but man I don’t understand the logic behind nerfing self-care and then buffing Botany, literally makes no sense

  9. I love the dead hard nerf, however its so dull that we still have to wait it out. Same with noed, its core problem is not fixed and i doubt some perks will drop in popularity.

  10. One thing not mentioned about sole survivor is that it can help with the rift quests. I prioritise finishing the rift over surviving the match. So that's a neat little bonus there. Totally agree on the off the record being too op, at the very least it should be switched it off at the endgame like DS does.

  11. Can’t help but find his reaction humorous at 17:00, considering, that the killer has been primarily shit on since ‘16. Now, that something looks op on the opposite end he is losing his shit, but 16x ds ,iw, dh, ub, adre, bt and coh with comms was okay. Lol

  12. i dont think the off the record change is that awful. Sure its incredibly strong but youre forced either use it aggressively which is pretty obvious for killer or touch a gen and lose it.

  13. 5:06 Not actually. You get bloodlust 1 at the same time as before. Now you get BL2 and BL3 faster
5:28 Exactly. I still love the update tho
10:30 Wrong. First it's 4 meters, then it slowly grows towards 24 until it reachwes 24 after 30 seconds

  14. I think its funny that the Basekit BT is only 5 seconds and then they drop a Bomb like Off the Record.

in my Opinion a Survivor who was just unhooked should just have i-frames for some time. So they cant Bodyblock but also cant get Hit by the Killer.
And then give them a quick Haste Status for like 5 seconds afterwards in Case the Killer waits it out.

Also bringing DS down from 5 to 3 seconds is a bit harsh. 4 seconds would have been good enought if it was even needed at all to be nerfed that way.

  15. There are things that imho really should be part of Conspicuous action… that is for example entering the locker, or getting healed (so not just healing yourself or others).

  16. coulrophobia should trigger within the terror radius, justa like now, but also forces the survivors to heal with the speed reduction by 10 seconds after leaving the TR (the effect lingers). that means that even if you're not in the terror anymore, you'll have the slowdown for 10 seconds just like mangled, but with a shorter time (the time doesn't go down, you'll have to heal -1c/s do fully remove that).
