Death Is Not an Escape.
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured, and killed.
Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.
The Survivors’ goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer – something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.

I don't really like Predator, so I hope he isn't the next
Its not so much IF Predator is coming in, but WHEN. With the new chapter release, they hinted at Predator with the "Grid" skin and the Xenomorph's Mori ( both reference Alien Vs Predator). I also believe Predator is one of those big licenses that could easily come in without a survivor, unlike Alien without Ripley. But, Behavior does like to surprise people with new releases, so Predator being Chapter 30 is WAY to obvious. Other big licenses that could come in as a paragraph is Pennywise, FNAF, and maybe Candyman. (I can't see Terminator without Sarah Connor and I can't see Friday the 13th without Tommy or a new map).
If we did get predator, I think the power should be maybe a passive cloak, similar to wraith, and a plasma castor that shoots and aims automaticly, but gives a charge up time to give survivors a chance to dodge/ take cover
Though you raise a fair point with Dutch and The Terminator being played by Arnie, they could also just use the T800 endoskeleton without using Arnold’s likeness and save that for Dutch

The T-1000 would be a better pick. Able to form knives and stabbing weapons.

The Predator is likely just a paragraph because the purpose of the character, it's motivation, doesn't necessarily include or is tied to any one specific human character for any significant reason. Dutch (Arnold) was just a target, while Ellen among the crew of the Nostromo, literally birthed and homed the Xenomorph, which is more or less just an intelligent wild animal
I mean I'd much prefer the real thing as opposed to predator from wish cough skull merchant cough
predator is stupid. just remove the skull merchant and have predator. or leave the game as is. the skull merchant is a bootleg predator anyways. its just having too many similar killers in the game. its not fun.
see I want predator to be a killer simply because that would go hard and fits along with the game, but the next chapter being predator simply seems too soon and although a lot of people want it and it makes sense, it would kinda suck considering some other characters deserve to have a chance to get in sooner rather than later.

but given how they word it in the interview it sounds like the license is the same exact license. so extremely likely to be predator which idk if I should be disappointed or interested.

frankly I'd rather they do a alien cosmetic release and give skull merchant (I know horrifying) a predator skin and just also completely rework her to be more in line with fitting that mold and not being doodoo fart asscheeks

Personally, I think it’s more likely for FNaF to be chapter 30, and have Predator as Chapter 31. The movie releases just before the chapter, meaning they could ride the hype train for the movie.
It's a shame there's no map if it is Predator. A jungle map would be great.

i personally think below is to much for bvhr to even handle!.
how i would make the predator is killer starts out stealth mode like wraith but can actually attack survivors while in stealth mode, however stealth mode only has 2 charges and the killer has to find more charges on the map to be stealth again, this KILLER will be all about finding weapons and items on the map and collecting them to make the killer stronger! and using strategy for the hunt. thus the killer powers are always changing! survivors will want to look behind them to see the weapon the killer has or picked up or is switching to. killer can find a spear to be a range killer, killer can find land mines that only has 2 charges to be placed down, but can be disarmed if seen by survivors, thus killer can block off some loops. killer has plasma gun that locks on to survivors from a far that damages and stuns them as well however plasma gun only works at a far distance! not in close range but the plasma gun will automatically lock onto survivors at far range like a auto gun helping the killer out. once again only works at a far range and helps the killer catch up, while still giving the survivor a chance. plasma gun charges must be found to give more energy to the weapon.
last thing killer gains are MASK/helmets, killer can find helmets on the map that upgrade the killer for a limited time giving aura spotting on survivors or killer instinct and actual footprint and blood tracking depending on the mask u find.
this killer has alot of powers but the powers are dependent on finding them thus killer can be strong and weak at the same time. leaving the survivor to find new weapons for the hunt or continuing the chase.
killers main power when hooking a survivor, once survivor is hooked the killer gains the roar affect that is map-wide and heard by all survivors saving or using it when needed, when the predator roars for victory, all survivors gain terror radius upon them for 20secs.
this killer is all about collecting weapons and changing strategy to come back later or to have a new tactic when facing survivors and being reward for hooks with his power. be carful though collecting to many weapons is also wasting time and allows survivors to escape however this killer can be a slight range of multiple killers for a slight duration until the weapons are used.
Predator entering the realm solely to hunt the alien sounds like a really cool plot plus there are a lot of survivors who would definitely be worthy prey for the predator
Good argument is also "GRID" skin for alien, it is from alien vs predator movie

I hope it's still gonna be a few chapters until we get Predator, since so many licensed chapters one after another and three different science fiction horror chapters this close together would be a bit much
I really wish it is predator for chapter 30. The reason part of me believes it isn't or is. Because of 2 reasons.
1. I do think Chapter 30 is going to be Five Nights at Freddy. Mainly because the film is coming out on October. Then in November it would make sense. Because there aren't any iconic survivors in FNAF it's a mix of everyone and the security guards.
2. Part of my also believes it may also be Predator but, part of believes me it isn't because you would want Arnold and Predator together because it's iconic. Now, at the same time the reason it's a stand alone predator is because it could be in the future they want a license deal for the Terminator with Arnold.
I've been an Predator fan my whole life ngl. So if it is a predator chapter. More likely it's going to be Scar from AVP which was the last remaining predator that died to the queen. It would make sense because he had the most screentime. The reason so is because if Grid Alien is a skin then more likely the timeline would be around there and so was the Queen. The entity could have grabbed the Alien but the predator followed and ended up in the realm. If this was a standard predator it would beyond broken.
you didnt even mention the grid cosmetic, wich basically downright confirms the possibility of predator coming to the game.
