I main killer and have experimented with Xeno as far as it can be taken, and I have played against Xeno a few times too. In both scenarios I can confirm that there just is no looping, its just holding W away from a loop when you predict they will use the tail, and if they don't use it you get hit and if you do they get to a new loop. You say that they were just not good enough, and yeah maybe they don't know the counterplay, but they are correct in saying there is no way to loop this killer, as it is just pallet denying. Its not even the same as Huntress and Nemesis with the pallet drop 50/50's because they have to pre-charge, xeno does not so its just a forced hit. Not only that, but its even harder to tell where she is in runner mode because she is so low to the ground, making you take hits that you couldn't avoid because you couldn't see her or the red stain. Most notable on maps like Autohaven.
I also didn't get a notification about the youtube post this video is showing, but I will say that Xeno is a decent killer, somewhere just weaker than demo in my opinion, and counterplay is boring because it is just setting up turrets and holding W. People hate Artist for the holding W reason, but atleast Artist has skill in using birds from a range and setting them up for predicting they hold W, which Xeno literally has no way to use skill in that way because of just not having a power that allows it on top of the fact its such a mind-numbingly easy power to use without being given the potential to use it in a difficult but rewarding way.
I don't hate this chapter, a lot of the reason is that I understand BHVR cannot really make anything entirely new now, because of the fact there is already just so much in the game, but I think they do need to branch out and add new status effects, good or bad, and another side objective that matters, whether it be through perks or power. I think Doctor is an extremely well designed killer and the illusion aspect of the game should be utilized in more killers, and I even used illusions in my now complete Slenderman concept.

  2. They broke the tail attack in the patch where they nerfed the speed. The hitbox is delayed and tail always does full animation even if u collide with something early. There are a few bug reports on forum. Its been like 2 week now? Still not fixed

  3. fyi there is currently no other ranged or mid ranged killer in the game that instantly does their m2, every time theres a sound and animation que for every character while holding out their power, except xeno, you cant react to them raising the tail because its happenning as the sound plays. so yeah, currently theres no counter to xeno because they can m2 the turrets unless you place 2 at the same spot and even if they lose power they can just go back to the tunnel. and you cant even see the turrets as survivor from far away. if bhvr wants to keep the chase power the same i hope they atleast look into tweaking the turrets

  4. My concern here is this… People continuously compare what Xeno can do against what other killers can't do and seem to really want Xeno to fall in line with what the other killers can do but give no mind to the turrets. People downplay them like they have genuinely zero impact on the gameplay and it's just entirely false. I have to put on an addon just to combat the damn things and if people just pay some level of attention to the advanced warning the turrets give, you'd have more than enough time to hide or get to a pallet easily.

This sentiment of "Skill issue" repeatedly said by Kaiser is about as productive as "Git gud" and he should do better than that. There's a wide range of players on both sides and skill levels.

There's genuinely no excuse for people not being able to handle throwing a turret in a decent spot. The things are even permanently revealed to you. Killer attacks turret, buys you time to get to a pallet or something. Predrop it if you feel like you need to. Then, if the killer loses their power, they have to drop chase entirely, free chase escape.

But fine, if it's really THAT much of an issue, remove the turrets entirely, allow the xeno only ONE tail attack before kicking them from their power. Reduce the Xeno killer power cooldown to 20 seconds. Don't allow tunnels to recover xeno cooldown power and remove the ability to see the survivor footsteps while in tunnels but increase the sound of survivor footsteps while in tunnels. Which gives some good value to that perk that makes their footsteps soundless.

  5. My only hripes with xeno are the dmg gen and break pallet animations (should have been a tail stab for gens and a like pounce/ joump crush for pallets like stepping on the pallet with the arms snd then pushing down on it with like a jump) and the lack of unique mori for the xeno queen skin the xeno queens teath and no meme add-on or just an add-on that removes the crawler mode and tail strike for some other buffs

  6. Look at me I'm practically famous now ngl I feel like my comment was pretty basic I made at like 2 Am or something but I like your idea for turrets applying hindered for a few seconds it's not that I want an ultimate weapon nerf I just think it's gonna happen

  7. OG Deathslinger was able to ADS and un-ADS rapidly with no slowdown or delay and lacked the sound effect for being aimed at, he could basically just repeatedly fake out going for a shot at absolutely no risk

  8. I still haven’t gotten to play the map, it might be my luck but the map rotations I’ve been having are just ridiculous. I’ve been playing badham preschool, lampkin lane, and Macmillan way too many times and yet I’ve never gotten to play nostromo wreckage. As for the alien I’m bored playing against it and playing as it.

  9. Not sure if you’re still looking at them but so far I really enjoy the chapter. One thing I have noticed tho and that I hope is just a bug, is that the map seems to reload for survivors every time the xenomorph enters/exits a tunnel. I’m not an expert with the balance but I feel like that takes away from the whole element of surprise thing the xenomorph has in the series.

  10. i feel like as time goes on and we get better with flame turrets (even though they can most of the time just get bonked and die) aliens broken aspect will fade away more similarly to singularity but more to a balanced level as singularity is good for about the first 30 seconds of the match then is just M1 killer and sometimes good chase and decent surveillance, however with the tail tech being able to on some loops hit over a blind spot for survivors it feels a bit unfair which is why it more depends on us being better with turrets to basically play keep away with his power (even though he gets it back as fast as iron maiden reload with huntress) and i feel its harder to hit and less overwhelming as somethings we already deal with in the game such as artist anti-loop, it's strong but can be difficult to master and can be counter which i feel we'll get better at. Last thought: putting 2 turrets next to each other which basically cuts an area off if alien wants to keep his power is underrated even though its half of the total turrets

  11. Me watching this video as I see my comment, knowing I'm vague, but to elaborate it's cause they are all range killers which honestly for me is not that fun cause skill issue, and its Ty-sky. I would also like to add that I feel the second half of my comment was dumb and I apologize for my lack of awareness to some things.

  12. I feel that when you talk about KI (killer instinct) it doesn't have a perk like distortion or calm spirit which is completely fine and i feel killers need base kit info that cant be just ignored but it being on other killers might raise idea to make a perk to counter KI even though they 100% shouldn't but I fear that is what BHVR might do

  13. Better question yet, what's your opinion about the recent epidemic of hacking bots in DBD?

Not that long ago every single content creator and their grandma's dog was shitting bricks over locker exploit but nobody seems to be reporting about all those, what feels like, hundreds of literal bot killer accounts insta killing everyone in mere seconds upon loading into the game while promoting a fishy website in the post game chat.

  14. Ripley's cool, and I actually love the new map as a killer main, which is very rare for a new map. So fun to play on.

However, Xeno's tail attack is now bugged, making it very difficult and inconsistent to use. Instead of coming out instantly, the hitbox is now badly delayed, causing a lot of unfair misses. Combine this with the heavily increased slowdown after a tail attack, and you now have a killer who feels awful to play. Personally I'm pretty put off that BHVR bugged a brand new killer this badly and have not pushed through a fix.

(This was originally from the comment I made on your Nurse video, but it belongs here.)

  15. Surprisingly enough Pig dash is a good power cause its rewarding if you get it right and punishing if you misjudged it, if killers powers like Alien cant be that balanced for both sides then somethings off.
