You do need to remember, I believe they, at one point, said they planned on re-designing Hawkins lab into something not Hawkins lab. Unless that was simply what fan’s said they should do. I’m a bit fuzzy on that memory

If its stranger things lm over this game.
I mean, these things takes months!! to create and add with planning designing etc, Netflix could've said hey we back open for business to all the games they want/had content in, therefore the timing does kind of make sense , and theres nothing stopping Cote from lying as tbh if he said yes we spoke to Netflix everyone would assume ST and there wouldnt really be as big of a surprise, so to me this makes sense? but still theres no certainty with these things but the whole rainbow room timing Vecna, not having as complicated as a original killer power design, as thats built from scratch but with Licenses you have an easier idea on what you could do etc. So idk we can be hopeful, but I can't imagine adding Vecna solo, I mean come to think of it, can always add more legendary skins 🙂

There is the possibility that the killer will be vecna, as the chapter is a no map one, but they can bring back the stranger things licence, bringing back the map aswell which goes with Vecna.
