  1. grim embrace may be my favourite perk design ever made, they could just buff it a lil' bit to show all peoples auras, cause it's supposed to be a don't camp don't tunnel perk if you hook the last guy and let's say they're the obsession you may as well camp them cause if the gens are blocked there is nothing better to do…

  2. Honestly I'm kinda happy that both sides are getting more tools to play around with. As much as this new circle of healing meta is annoying for keeping pressure, im honestly happy for anything other than the four perks everyone uses in dead by dogma

Pain Resonance sounds insane, and in the right circumstances IT IS (PR and Pop is "Survivor goes Gen work bye bye, always under PRESSURE", to be more technical), but it relies on whether a Scourge Hook is nearby or not. You could run Agitation for it, but that's 2 perk slots to make one perk consistent.

  4. I’m not happy about new perks being “really strong” because perks being “really strong” usually means that they appeal to the meta.

    What’s the meta for Survivors? Second chances and W key gaming.
    What’s the meta for Killers? Slowdown on top of slowdown on top of slowdown and maybe BBQ if you like to pretend you don’t camp but other than that probably more slowdown.

    So if a perk on either side is really strong, chances are it contributes to these stale, boring meta strats that have basically remained the same since the game came out in 2016. And for certain, all of the strong perks this patch are TOTAL meta slaves.

    I don’t want more strong perks. I want more fun perks. I want the strong perks we have to be nerfed into the ground because they’ve been the best and most boring perks in the game for 4+ years and I’m sick of seeing them every single match. New strong perks won’t encourage gameplay diversity because they just do what the meta perks do but better. It’s the same misery with a different coat of paint.

  5. 100% agree. The best part about perks imo is that you can mix and match them to make a build that you like. You can use them with creativity, a thing that we're not seeing much of as of late, so it's really nice that we get some fun stuff to play with.

  6. I don't understand is the new exhaustion perk. It physically should not be able to give you MORE distance than sprint burst, but after testing, it does. It is a 2 second exhaustion perk, at the same speed. The hit speed you get, is the SAME as the exhaustion perk speeds, so really it should be behaving like a 2 second sprint burst you release the moment you get hit, but it somehow gives more distance than Sprint Burst + Hit due to… Spaghetti code???
