A good way to pressure survivors into cleansing is using Thanatophobia. The fact you can easily infect most of the team means that if they don't start healing then they'll be slapped with a 20% decrease in gen repair speed. It's such a good perk on Plague.
THANA and Blood echo are good option as well

Can you play as the plague with hex pentimento and any hex perks? Puking on totems before they're destroyed is fun imo.

My favorite build for Plague is Corrupt, Thana, Pop, and Tinkerer with Prayer Tablet. The build is crack I can't stop playing it.
