I wish they'd left Dwight's mask for Leatherface, but oh well
when I started playing I was really excited about the Leatherface masks. I thibk they should have severely punish the misbehaving users instead of removing the masks. Is like they would remove the pride flags because some killers tunnel and camp survivors wearing them.
There used to be a skull button in the survivor menu and an orb button in the killer menu that occupied the same spot and it allowed players to quickly swap between roles without having to back out to the main menu. I believe they removed this awesome feature in 2019 in anticipation of the MMR system.
Great video! Quick play could have stayed, LF masks will be remembered, hoarded negative effect wasn't too bad, old map offerings were good if whole team took them, moonlight was busted, splinters were ok reason being that you can try out killers you didn't had and add on negative trade offs were pretty balanced in my opinion (decreased accuracy of blinks wasn't even visible), but you forgot about old escalator on ormond(it is on new ormond but you can't enter it) and wraith addons that made him less weak because he was pathetic(i am talking about old blind worriors).

I don't get it at all, why did they remove ALL of bubbas masks? And why fire the artist? It was not his/her fault that bad people exist. Why couldn't they just remove the problematic masks and make new ones to replace them? Remember, you can spell DBD without fun. ffs

Side Note: To answer the add-on question, I'm really glad they stopped having the trade-off mentality. I think it's fine to have a few gimmicky add-ons that aren't always good (like Myers) but when it's either the whole catalog or just meant to "balance" something it's so stupid. They should just make the actual upside reasonable rather than tacking something on as damage control. I still think Iri Head is one of the worst designed add-ons, as both the upside and downside make Huntress way less fun for both sides.
i find it hilarious bhvr removed leatherface's masks to help remove racial targeting just for racial targeting to still be around. biggest clowns of the world are the ones who cave to cancel culture.

afaik the reason the moonlight offerings were removed was because they didnt affect the lighting of the match like you would expect, but they literally had 3 of every map in the game and it would choose them based on the offerings used, but that meant 3x the space was being used just for offerings most players were annoyed were even in the game
Yeah, i remember alot of this thing in good old days of dbd: about this masks i'm still mad, because it makes bubba the first character who don't give anything more that killer and perks for pursharing dlc with him(even ghostface has exclusive for dlc body and weapon), but im quite disagree with some dates in the video: moonlight bouquets wasn't removed from the game in 2017, but disabled to obtain thru bloodweb, so players could not be able to get it and use it in matches, but you could use it in kill your friends until mid chapter update between spirit and legion release, when this offerings was disabled forever. Also for me kinda strange that Splinters was disabled only in 2020, because how i remember they were disabled for me after Clown chapter was released and i couldn't get new types of them in bloodweb.
Honestly I think that it would be cool if you could unlock cosmetics for survivors and killers for doing certain things I like a lot of peoples comments in here with the ideas it would make the game interesting however I think that the idea of the leather face masks should have avoided the controversy and maybe they should add skins for bubba that could have been from each movie instead

I unlocked the claudette face bubba first and i always wore it because 1. Never saw it as racist and 2. It looked good with the tuxedo outfit

the splinters were bugged when dedicated servers arrived because they didnt work as intended when you use 1 you would play the game as your normal character that you used the splinter in the game but when you got to the lobby it would be the splinter character in the menu and you could lvl up your character without owning it. I actually manage to get shape to lvl 49 and get his adept achievement before buying him also the character would go back to normal if you changed to survivor or closed the game
the leatherface mask stuff is bullshit i got so close to getting them all claud was my last one and they just removed them and also is there any proof of people being "harassed" by blackface bubba coz i guarantee that nothing like that even happened also not to mention that LEATHERFACE u see that name LEATHERFACE is a serial killer that wears peoples faces its not offensive in anyway and if you take it like that ur a crybaby bitch
