  1. This combo was obviously overpowered, but I didn't actually mind it that much. Reason being, it was two perks which were not tunneling protection, and this was a thing during the era of 3 second DS. I normally don't tunnel out of courtesy even if I'm on the back foot, but if you're gonna use this blatantly overpowered combo on me… you've declared you don't care about my fun, so I won't care about yours. And as strong as Buckle Up + FTP was, it's still not as strong as tunneling someone straight off hook and making the game a 3v1.

  2. It was one of the worst combos. I literally could not get a hook cause i knock down a survivor and they just bring them back up. I also played survivor and a nurse couldn't hook that survivor cause two friends constantly ftp buckle eachother and the nurse gave up

  3. buckle up on its own is a nice perk, but having other perks to combo with it like for the lolz is just…cruel. if a 4 man swf ran this shit along with a boon there is legit ZERO and I mean ZERO counterplay

  4. This combo was too strong. They even nerfed We're Gonna Live Forever to prevent it from applying during the FTP pick up, so it really was backwards for them to buff Buckle Up knowing full well they had just nerfed WGLF because they thought WGLF was going to be too powerful with FTP. Combinations like that aren't even fun after a few matches of abusing them since they take such little effort to pull off that the games become too easy which shouldn't happen. A perk combination shouldn't turn the game from a fair match to complete annihilation of all hope of doing anything remotely well that match. It isn't impossible to balance perks around their respective combo pieces, they did it with WGLF and FTP without that making it to live, they just need to learn from their own success of stopping a combo before it goes live and replicate that process for new changes and content.

  5. as killer i ran into the combo maybe 4 times in a year but as a solo queue survivor going against 3/5 killers with lightborne there was few ways of saving tunneled players and ftp alone didn’t give people time to react

  6. To Be Honest, I Always Hated This Combo More Than Any Other OP Perk In This Game Because Of How There Was Zero Counterplay To It And How So Many People Were Defending It. The Most Common Defense I Got Was "Well That Survivor Wasn't Doing Any Gens So It's Fine". Yeah They Aren't Doing Gens, But What's The Killer Doing In The Meantime? Absolutely Nothing. It Doesn't Matter If That Survivor Isn't Doing Gens If The Killer Can't Capitalize Off Of That.

  7. As a killer I absolutely hated this combo but I think outright killing this combo was not necessary. They could lower the endurance to 4s first to see if it fixes the problem.
