  1. Sorry I just can't see why FNAF wouldn't fit into DBD…
If Scott is worried about genre, DBD is an horror/survival game.
If other characters are the problem, well we won't be seeing him in fortnite so soon as well.
If accuracy of his characters being represented is the problem, well BHVR has a reputation on doing it perfectly.
In my opinion DBD has always been an great option for fnaf to get some fresh air, actually putting springtrap or other characters to walk around and HURT people like they always did.
The only real problem I see is the way fnaf's slowly becoming "kid friendly" and honestly I dislike that A LOT.

  2. dbd would be the most reasonable choice but he said it needs to fit with lore idk if fixing 5+ generators to activate the gates is part of the lore but i might be yapping but we will find out later

and if it is dbd they should add the mimic the most reasonable option

  3. I give him props for wanting to protect his brand. Brand integrity is one of the biggest things you want to keep cause the moment it changes the moment you either lose the style and the people or lose the brand entirely. Look at Disney. Disneys biggest thing is brand integrity & they have lasted because of it. Gotta give Scott props for looking at it more in a future perspective then just the right now.

  4. Ok well if he says that dbd isn’t a great match then why the hell would he add fnaf to Fortnite a game where you literally just shoot people. Last time I checked there were no guns in fnaf

  5. Everytime I told a stupid FNAF fan that it doesn’t belong they wanted to be giant stinky non showering cry baby but now have to swallow that same pill from the holders themselves I LOOOOOVE IT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I know it might happen one day but that’s only if the game changes in a way that makes them feel like it’ll fit then so that makes me really happy because knowing buggy behavior this game will be glitched into the black hole void In another year or year and half until everyone’s accounts are lost and never recoverable leaving them bankrupt and ruined

  6. I feel like the date release for the FNAF collab announcement mathes up so well with DBD's next PTB. We might've been baited into thinking its Dracula but its actually FNAF and we were mislead. Massive copium here

  7. after watching the interview i had 2 thoughts basically confirmed in my head:
    1. if FNAF gets added to Fortnite, than it gets added to DBD aswell. it fits MUCH worse in Fortnite with all their dances and genre being shooter in general.
    2. when FNAF gets added to DBD, its gonna be weirdest one in terms of introduction. most likely it will have an event accompanying it (something something true hide-n-seek)

  8. Feels like the collaboration is now more likely to be dead by daylight because dead by daylight being a horror game would definitely make it possible to make a fnaf chapter work out for Scott and fans,Although being in Fortnite seems highly unlikely now

  9. This comment by him about protecting the brand so it's not a mismatch, is quite hilarious when these things exist:
    -FNAF World
    -Five Laps at Freddy's
    -Roblox game
    -Funko Fusion

Not sure how DBD/Fortnite/Etc. Is any sillier than those

  10. Scott is talking about Cannon

As if FNAF IS A "LORE DRIVEN" game. Most of FNAF lore is hinted vs just telling you. Which is fine but it's inconsistent.

FNAF has LORE that contradicts itself. Specifically in the novels Scott wrote himself. Especially with the silver eyes books. Man's is the modern-day George Lucas (but in the goofiest way when it comes to lore).

But all I'm getting is Scott saying his brand is too good for dbd. It's his IP, so there's nothing wrong with that.

    Keep this in mind

Konami sent the original creator of Pyramid head. To collaborate with dbd, in order to create a new version of Pyramid head Specifically for dbd.

Fun World (Creators of Ghost Face). Collabed with DBD to let them create an entire brand new ghostface LORE. which, by the way, slaps harder than most of the scream movies.

Resident Evil gave us WESKER AND NEMISIS and dope skins with HUNK (legion) and William BERKz (Blight).

The point I'm making here is when it comes to games with "lore." Dbd has, for the most part. Has up'd their lore game with how killers get added.

Do you mean to tell me spring trap wouldn't kill indiscriminately? Really? As he wasn't walled up for a reason? As if he wasn't the reason why 4 kids were stuffed in animitronics? I'm no writer, but how hard would it be to write

From inside the walls of the Freddy Fazbear horror attraction. A fire broke out. William, in his final moments, knew his time was coming to an end. Someone had lured him into the storage room. This should've been where it all ended. But fate had other plans… A voice whispered faintly in his ear. William kicked, screamed, and lashed out, trying to break down the door. He could not escape this infernal hell. The suit, the memories plagued his every thought. As the smoke crept into the storage room. William raised his head, flooded with thoughts of grief. A path revealed itself through the smoke. Distant at first, the smoke turned into a fog. Was it the will to live? Or was it the drive to finish what he started? Within the fog, there was someone waiting for him. With the sound of bone and metal. William arose.

It's bad writing, but my point still stands. It wouldn't be a stretch to think the fog would manipulate spring trap into killing indiscriminately.

  11. I feel like from what Scott basically said it’s kind of up in the air as to whether or not FNAF will enter dbd. I know behavior treats it’s licenses with respect. I feel like behavior could easily get Scott on board and they could possibly have him maybe give input on the fnaf chapter especially with the power of spring trap
