  1. In order to do a sequel you would have to introduce completely new mechanics to justify the venture. I'm talking like survivors having abilities such as fighting back, having certain attributes, etc. similar to TCM. Or maybe even introduce killer teams. I would also love DBD to have graphics like Demon's Souls remake (quality wise, not necessarily art style wise) but I have absolutely NO confidence in the DBD dev team to be able to handle something like this.

  2. thank you for saying dead by daylight. I was able to understand the video much better. However, I do not understand why you want the old graphics. I played with them for years and I’m not one who cares how a game looks as long as it plays well, but I greatly prefer the new graphics. It’s so much easier to distinguish things as opposed to everything looking like garbage covered in dirt. And I don’t buy this “it has more character” bs. Auto haven looks and feels way more like a junkyard, Macmillan feels more industrial, and cold wind it obviously farmland.

  3. This is how I feel. Dbd isn’t a game that you can make a sequel to, and I know a lot of people are like “There should be dbd 2!” But the way I see it? The disaster OW2 was proved to me this is just not the right move. You’re removing everyone’s progress and all the money they spent, gone. BHVR has no problem with this but I absolutely know I and many other people would have this issue. The fact dbd without a completely new game being made can be optimized and graphically updated (this happened around the yellow bottle buff update for clown 2-3 years ago) also tells me this. What dbd needs is the Dbd Mobile treatment. They shut down the game for over a month and reintroduced it way better than it ever was. I think this would be really healthy for both the gameplay, and the players. Because I’m sure we all know at least one person that needs to take a break and refuses to. Those are my thoughts.

  4. Words cannot describe the hatred I hold for Overwatch 2. Killed off Overwatch 1, systematically ripped out any and all systems that made the game unique, enjoyable and engaging to come back and play to not even deliver the reason everyone was excited for OW2.
Fuck you Blizzard and fuck you team 4.

  5. DBD has an unsolvable problem with bloating that only gets worse and worse with every killer and survivor but you would need to start from absolute scratch and they don't have the best track record with other games e.i death garden but on the other hand it would let them straighten out the code with a better engine and clear direction

  6. Yeah, I agree with you wholeheartedly. A dbd 2 is just a good opportunity for Behavior to drop the ball and potentially ruin the game. Sure, the game has its bugs, but it can be improved little by little. Like you said, all they would need to do is work on a game health update rather than a chapter or two

  7. I feel like sequels have become unnecessary due to the digital upgrades we have nowadays

Considering They can add more to games with updates now
Eg. characters ,cosmetics, new game modes. Etc

  8. See, here's my take: You cannot just keep adding content to this same basis, and the basis this game has is already a huge clusterfuck. So much of dbd's gameplay revolves around the collision of objects, and yet it has some of the worst collision and map geometry I have ever seen. The amount of times as either role you end up losing a chase because you get stuck on some random little corner or object on the ground is absurd. Not only that, but there's only so many killer powers you can make, and we're already reaching the point where they're clearly beginning to run out of ideas for perks and powers. (The Singularity is literally just Skull Merchant done right.)
This game NEEDS a reset. Something built from the ground up with all the knowledge they've gained from here now.
    Also to remove Nurse.

  9. The biggest and really only issue I have with a sequel is the potential loss of a lot of hard earned licenses. Licenses will more than likely have to be renegotiated unless there is something in the contract about bringing said licenses over into a sequel.

An example of this is the lack of snake in super smash brothers 4 but the return in ultimate (license renegotiation)
