  1. Zanshin Tactics is a good tool to practice some more the timing with Doctor, Plague, Pyramid Head, those mid range ranged killers, expecially Doctor. Probably new Trapper and Hag killer players may find it useful to study how to place their net of traps idk.

  2. I would like if they put synergetic perks in the shrine at the same time to give people a chance to combo them. Like retribution on its own isn't great so putting it with haunted grounds in the shrine at the same time will give people who may not have spirit a chance to use the combo

  3. I think it would be easier for you to show how much use a perk will have if you just did two separate builds where each tries to get the most value of each of the shrine perks. Obviously you still have to use both shrine perks in each build though

  4. Zanshin is probably great for anyone trying to learn Huntress or Demo in particular. Knowing when a survivor is heading for a window or pallet so you can zone with a hatchet or shred is useful, but like you said after so many hours it's not needed.

Only other thing I can think of is after a new map releases or a rework.

  5. I think Zanshin is helpful in learning in custom games to just learn the tiles, but in actual game? Eh. Several issues with Zanshin is the range (should be 36 meters, if not 48), the cool down (why?), and lastly why is a LEARNING perk on a DLC KILLER? Should be a generic perk so newbies can have it while they're, you know, new and learning.

  6. i have 4k hours and Zanshin i feel to me is pointless but with new people that struggle with setups i definitely think its useful for them. and some maps with a crazy amount of pallets could also be useful with zanshin

  7. For perk combos that have no synergy, like this, you should do two dedicated builds. Zanshin could have been leaked for value in a pallet centric build including spirit fury enduring with someone like bubba.

For retribution, you could have done the no hope shaman build, with retribution, devour hope, haunted grounds, and either undying or ruin. This way you get value even if a totem is never destroyed, or if they're getting cleansed, full aura vision, good with a ranged or heavily mobile killer.

  8. I think using Zanshin to learn could hurt more than help. If you get too used to just seeing where pallets and vualts are, you may not learn to recognize tiles without it. I'd say it's a perk that realistically will never be very useful

  9. Should did the second game without Zanshin and pointed out where pallets were before you can see them. Just to showcase that once you learn the spawns that Zanshins not gonna ever give you extreme value (or any tbh). Still tho, great vid man

  10. The problem with Zanshin is kinda the same like with Bloodfavour. You can't use the perk when you need it, because the survivor gets a speedboost and is out of the range you were able to see/where pallets are blocked.

  11. If Zanshin was a free perk, sure I would have run it to learn a few pallet locations, but since you have to spend shards for it, there’s no way. Even though I remember being a dumbass and taking a long time to learn the maps, it’s still not worth shards

  12. I'm a low tier killer (rank 13 is the highest I've been) and to me Zanshin seems like a good perk for learning, but I used it for a while and during that time I was able to play around early pallet drops better. But once I swapped off Oni and didn't have it I struggled at first but I feel like I learned way more about pallet and window layouts because I was being punished for not knowing them without being able to see them at least a little bit a head of time. So it definitely taught me the basic idea of where they'll generally spawn, but to really get a good idea of the tiles I had to take it off to learn. I'm still by no means great or have all the tiles 100% committed to memory. But I feel better without it.

  13. Xanshin is a mostly "take the guess work out of it" perk, you go from 'Oh, the pallet should be in one of these spots' to 'Oh it is right THERE, oh and its been throw at some point'
So, not the most useful but if you have a bad memory like me and constantly get blind sided by pallets I never saw, it can be alright. I still don't like it but it can be good.
The 30 second cool down is terrible too, I'd drop it to 10-15 at most, or have it come off for 30 on downs rather than hits but eh.
