  1. the only problem here though is that it wasn't legion who carried you nor the perks. it was your killer knowledge that made you still win this game even though they smashed out gens in the mid game. i wouldn't have got that result with the same build and would have been crushed with 0 kills most likely. i love legion, but since bhvr nerfed them into the ground in the past it's still one of the weakest killers in the game for me and will remain there until bhvr decides to finally buff them again unfortunately :/

  2. My Legion build has been BBQ, Thano, Pop, Ruin since I don’t have many perks on them since I haven’t prestige’d them yet and I don’t wanna waste Bp till after they’re prestige’d but it works great

  3. As a legion main , He is prolly the worst killer. Trust me. People will just heal with boons. Before people wouldn't heal as often. Only time I am able to get 4k's is if I bring double mend addons. Legion has amazing gen pressure, but it is useless if you have no loop pressure. You can't catch people fast at all, Shack. Almost impossible with very skilled players. My biggest suggestion as a legion main if you play legion is , dont bring any slowdown perks and try to get a 3 gen. It always works in your favor and is easy to do as legion.

  4. As a Legion main, if there are two things that a player should have when playing Legion, it's awareness and mindfulness. You have to constantly be keyed into the sights and sounds of the match, for example at 6:25, Otz almost ran in the opposite direction from where his Killer instinct was pinging. He did correct his movement, but the point is if he didn't actively look and start drawing in visual information of where that Killer Instinct bubble was beating, that match would have ended differently.

Mindfulness is something that I see a lot of DBD players lacking in a larger sense. Mindfulness is mainly keeping a mental check list of information that you've received, like the last location of a survivor you've seen (in case you had to break chase or if you saw one while in a chase with someone else) and the direction they were facing/going, as this information can be pivotal when it comes to what you decide to do next in any given instance.

Legion excels at info gathering with their power and acting on that info, but if the player can't utilize that info then it's going to be a waste and Legion will seem like a bad killer. A good example is CoconutRTS playing Legion the other day (you can find his video "I became a Legion Main for a day and…"), at 6:15 of his video he deep wounds one survivor and starts to chase an uninjured Nea, right in front of him past the Nea was the aura of a gen along with a Killer Instinct bubble right next to it, but he focuses on chasing his freshly deep wounded Nea. That lack of mindfulness of the information that he just gained (I think) cost him the match, since prior (literally seconds before) he saw one survivor (Dwight) prior to deep wounding the survivor (Kate) before his chase with Nea. Which means he had all four survivors accounted for and upon deep wounding Nea, he had all survivors injured, and had he used the iri button's terror radius expanding effect he had to his advantage, he could have tricked the Nea into thinking he was still following her while he feral frenzy rushed towards the injured survivor on the gen and possibly got a down which could have turned the tables into his favor.

TLDR: Exercise Mindfulness and Awareness when playing Legion, just because a survivor isn't in your direct line of sight doesn't mean they suddenly unrender from existence. Always look around for Killer Instinct bubbles and always be mindful of where survivors are at and where they are going.

  5. I dont think legion is the worst killer in the game, but he definitely is much lower on the tierlist I feel. Legion is heavily perk and addon dependent simply due to the fact that his power doesn't do a ton. COH + Medkits completely removes the trade-off (stay injured and risk being downed quickly; or, heal and waste time) that used to make him more viable before. With spawns being spread out as well, on most maps even with extra duration you'll get at best 2 injures. You either need to stack extra slowdowns and play well in chase, or use more chase perks to put him in a position to do well.

Also, I think spirit fury and bamboozle work wonders on legion, and are overall more consistent than PWYF or any hexes.

  6. My Legion build as my main: ONLY SUSIE with BBQ and Chili, Beast of Prey, Distressing, and Blood Hound (Makes it easier to follow after hitting people.). With this build I can get like 40k – 50k Bloodpoints per match, and I also don't bother actually killing anybody to stay at the low MMR and have bit more casual fun with it since I'm usually only playing to get the Bloodpoints for the incomprehensible amount of Grinding you have to do to get all the characters leveled up with the perks you want.

  7. I always feel with legion that early to start of mid game I'm just losing and having got much done. Come mid to late my pressure feels like it sky rockets all of a sudden. I think people think the killer is weak mainly due to this issue. In decent mmr I never feel early is super strong. But play it out your stall will make a difference.

  8. I love legion my personal best build is Pop, Discordance, Monitor & Abuse, and Nurse's Calling.

It's a really high intensity build running around like a mad man. If gens are clear i look for healers if no healers i look at gens. They don't heal i get free pops. Pretty poetic if you ask me.

  9. i never thought legion was as bad as people make him out to be. free first hits are huge. play with your food on legion almost feels like perma-noed. it's just that pure M1 gameplay got weaker in recent years. slow speed on downing people is also bad against circle of healing. so obviously the strongest killers are the ones that ignore loops and can end chases super quickly.

  10. Play with your food is such a fun perk on Legion.
If you're confident you can work with less slowdown, stuff like Nemesis combo'd with it just makes you zoom since more often then not after getting stunned on a pallet, you break chase.
Also you rarely loose all your stacks per chase if survivors don't heal, which is nutty

  11. I am one of the 4 Legion mains, and this actually validates my build XD

BBQ & Chili – Info and BP (love the grind)
Thrilling Tremors – Slowdown and Info (I like info!)
Thanataphobia – Slowdown especially with my addons
And then swap up the last couple, Ruin for more slowdown, Devour for a fun surprise and some speed

    Addons:
Legion Pin (hitting a survivor with Killer Instinct makes them Broken for 60)
Cold Dirt (CD Reduction, swap to Joey's Tape if we want to stay green)

I know Otz doesn't like the pin, but I find that even if I only combo 1 or 2, it guarantees Thanataphobia debuff mapwide for at least a minute, and if you can combo more, it becomes a massive debuff that can slowly be removed.

I will say this does fit MY playstyle, I am generally very happy to hit multiple people and be very aggressive, but I do generally avoid tunneling and camping if not warranted. And Legion plays into that perfectly, bc I don't HAVE to tunnel someone off hook. I can hit them, force the mend and Thana debuff, and be on my way. It does require I get an early hook to keep my info up to date (less game sense than Otz), but it creates a game I enjoy playing and that survivors rarely are unhappy with bc I still let them play.
