Ghostface has been a consistently middle to low tier killer since his release, it was revealed he will be getting tweaks this month! These are MY hopes for it.

I feel like the addons should stay that way. Most ghostface players are casual players, so i think makiing the low addons good will be good to prevent breaking the bank. I love that when playing him, his "good" addons are cheap, so i dont have to spend millions to make him much better(talking to you rat poison and requesition form). They could change addons, but they should change his playstyle or make something nicer, but the common addons should stay viable. Also the reveal mechanic should be entirely changed imo, because looking at a thing in 3rd person always makes things clunky. I feel like you hit the nail with most opinions, send this to bhvr!😂
About that leaning point, YES. As someone who doesn’t play too much killer, yet will play ghostface anytime i can, leaning is a giant pain on both keyboard and mouse, or controller. Also, i agree with your point about the hook, its great! Or they can remove the ability to take him out of night shroud, either or

The idea to break a killer out of their power before getting any value is somewhat asinine.
Why is he not alloud to stalk? The Shape dont have that limitation.
Why does he lose undetectable if someone sees him??? Survivors look at killer in chase to make better decisions around tiles/loops. So the idea is asinine to me.
Its one thing to play around a killers power, its another to completely negate their power by moveing the camera.
Why hasn’t BHVR released the dev notes for these changes yet 😭 I need to see what happens to these killers. I’m so worried for Chucky, Michael, and Dracula.

An idea i've always had for Outdoor Security Camera (his 2nd Iridescent) would be to reveal the aura of all Survivors with more than 75% Stalk progress every time you enter Night Shroud for a set amount of seconds. That way, it would be a powerful addon that rewards skilled Ghostface players for 99'ing correctly with invaluable information, as well as encouraging newer GF players to learn the optimal way to play.
However, I am one of about 3 people who actually likes current OSC, so I also humbly request BHVR give that addon's current effect of revealing the aura of every Survivor outside of your terror radius whenever you get a Marked down to Victim's Detailed Routine. An aura reveal related to an addon that literally shows Ghostie's meticulous dedication to stalking and observing his victims seems pretty apt.

Good video. As a surv main, Ghostie is one of my least favorite killers, but I completely agree with like 93% of what you said. Expanding on the idea of a missed swing not breaking GF out of stealth: maybe change that to " as long as a survivor is not within 8 meters of GF, a missed swing doesn't break him out". Miss clicks happen. But if a surv spins him, or fakes a window well, he's still broken out. And if a surv is stealthing around him, he can use it for info, while still giving the surv counter play.
I think I typed that all out correctly.
I feel like Ghostface’s change would fix the whole reveal mechanic, and I hope that’ll be the case as well..

Leather Knife Sheath is actually better than you think. It adds 10% which makes him 4.2 in crouch, faster than a survivor. This makes a difference around loops as you can use crouch to land hits without using your power as much. It pairs well with something like Play With Your Food and Machine Learning.

Honestly, when it comes to add-ons, im sick of them being basekit somewhat, but still being there… always having the choice of 10% faster stalk, and the cooldown will be his best no matter how basekit you make it. Just completely change those add-ons to something else . Idk something random i thought of.
When revealed from night shroud, keep undetectable for 4 seconds (not really useful, but not worthless either.. that is what a brown should be.)
My Favorite addons are the Matchbook and outdoor security camera.
Rewards you using youre power for marks and gives info no matter how close or far survivors are and i think this pairs really well since imo information is ghostfaces best tool.
Ghost face is a joke in his movies so it’s fine if he’s a joke in dbd I have a problem with actually horror icons being weak like Michael and Freddy when they are literally in the top 5 of horror and Freddy to this day is the only horror icon to fight another horror icon in the movie Freddy vs Jason him being as terrible as he is, is just trash and sad
