Survivors no longer respect STBFL… | Dead by Daylight

“Save the Best for Last” was an extremely popular (and arguably problematic) perk before it got a major nerf. Since this change, its usage has dropped very significantly but it also seems that Survivors are now even less prepared to deal with it than before…

On Doctor specifically, we’re also running the perk “Rapid Brutality” since it also helps you catch up to Survivors sooner after a hit. Keep in mind that since Doctor loses bloodlust build-up when he shocks, the downside of not having bloodlust is not too bad at all.

  1. 7:30 To be fair Doctor kinda looks like a cenobite. In the Hellbound Heart novel Pinhead wasn't the leader of the cenobites, there was a 5th Cenobite called the Engineer who looked much like The Doctor.

  2. Hey Otz! hello :). Question, have you tried the Stolen Sketchbook addon from Legion paired with the Weave Attunement perk from Vecna? I had no idea it was a thing and weave attunement is my fav perk so when I tried it I was blown away, saves me a Perk slot since I Don't have to use Franklin's demise for my Weave Attunement build, Much Love <3

  3. I disagree. I think RPD is one of the best maps in the game. You know the layout, limiting the RNG. One side is more killer-sided the other more survivor-sided = balanced.

If I had to change one thing about the map, I would create an additional entrance to the front outside path, maybe by creating a hole in the wall of the east wing detectives office.

There are so, so, so many worse maps. All the coldwinds, midwich, hawkins, gideon…

  4. They nerfed STBFL?
    wtf
it was always such a completely fine perk, and one of the only ones that was better on weaker killers than stronger ones.
survivors will always bitch about something, things must be in a sorry state indeed if everything else they bitched about has been balanced away to the point that STBFL was at the top of their list of complaints.

  6. 5:21 That unhook denial was so beautiful, i don't see it often, and even rarer that it works since there's usually another guy to unhook. So to see it done so perfectly makes me feelsgoodman

  7. I practically always run STBFL whenever I play a M1 killer purely for the fun minigame it provides in trying to get to 8 stacks. A shame it doesn't feel as strong anymore though :c

  8. laughs in stbfl being built into my build for vecna with double cooldown reduction addons
"You will take hits and die, or you won't take hits and die faster." Theres a reason i get more hate comments about stbfl vecna than I do my normal nurse (which is still quite alot tbf).

  9. STBFL is really one of the perk I'm almost always playing. Not on Huntress, or Nurse, but I have it on Wraith, Doctor, Freddy, Clown, Slinger, Pinhead, Dredge, Lary and now Vecna. And I have to say the nerf is atrocious. Not the 4%,this is fair, but M2 removing stacks. For example, chaining the obsession with Pinhead, not even injuring them with the iri, make you lose stacks. Same for Slinger, spearing even if you don't hit makes him lose stacks. This is really not good, because before people were ghosting obsession. Now they are hard ghosting obsession…
