  1. There's quite a few reasons why I don't think FNAF will ever come to dbd. First and foremost being the survivor issue. Who are they going to use? Faceless protagonist from FNAF 1 or faceless protagonist from FNAF 2? The only options I see is a killer only chapter or an aged up Gregory, similar to what they did with Yoichi.

  2. imagine that if fnaf is coming to dbd but instead of springtrap being the killer as much we would like him to be(at least like that fanmade spotlight did), the killer is vanny 💀

  3. even tho i've been waiting to play springtrap in dbd for 5 years now im gonna say it wont happen
probably because dbd is rated at 18 because of the gore and violence and scott probably doesnt want fnaf to be violent anymore
kinda obvious since security breach removed anything just slighty violent like vannys knife or just the mention of blood
i would guess its because the fnaf-fanbase are alot of children and even tho alot of kids who played the og game are adults now its still marketed towards children and yea children shouldnt play dbd

  4. The clip from Dawko btw is a very very loose statement. Dawko is somewhat close with Scott but like everyone else, Dawko is in the dark about FNaF as much as everyone one else unless Scott gives him the information he wants to give him to leak or whatnot. It’s still possible but unless it’s from Scott himself, I’m not taking it for definite, especially since that was like 8 years ago lol

  5. I’m sure as long as Scott gets a say on the power for the character and who the character(s) is/are for the chapter, it’d be likely to see it happen. Add-ons I’m sure BHVR would have free-will as long as they’re related to the lore/game which they always do anyway.

  6. I feel like the biggest problem with FNAF is that, despite that it is hugely popular in the "internet era" of horror, it's not as much of an icon when you compare it to Alien, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Hellraiser, etc… Those are all HUGE movies/classic games icons that even your parents probably know about. Each of of these was revolutionary for their time. FNAF has a fanbase of mostly younger millennials and zoomers and is not that huge outside of the web. Granted, it's getting a movie, but I still don't feel like it's as big as the licenses we already have in DBD.

  7. There really is no reason they shouldn't be bringing FNAF into the game. It has so much potential and DBD will definitely get an abundance of players (old and new).

  8. Tbh if Stranger Things is considered "a worthy horror icon", i don't see any reason why FNaF isn't. (No st hate here, I'm just saying that it's pretty new, unlike something like "Alien" or "Haloween")
