  1. i've been asking for this for a long time and whenever people said that solo queue perks need buffing i just always replied for a change like this, i think solo queue is going to be much better, still not better than swf's obviously but it's not really going to be a problem anymore, i also wish that there could be a menu by holding tab to see survivor perks and a very basic map that just shows the layout of the map itself and where very general things are such as main building and shack so if you're on a map like RPD and you're looking for the injured survivor in the library for example and you can't find where the library is, you can just open up the map and navigate your way there

  2. I'm glad you didn't click bait like other people calling it a massive buff.😒This is in no way a massive buff I can run bond and see what my boosted randumbs are doing

  3. This is a start. While I like the idea of voice chat, it would be a shitshow as everyone would just mute it due to shit talking and mic spamming which would only make the game even more toxic… like imagine you’re killer and the survivors are mocking you mid chase or vice versa…

  4. I don't think seeing loadouts is as useful as you all think it would be, because you still can't coordinate without communication, and knowing how you should coordinate while still not being able to is a bit redundant (specially counting that you're playing with RANDOMS who may not even care or think about this so called coordination). It would still be an ok quality of life addition but I wouldn't count it towards "ok, solo queue is fixed now and seeing loadouts did it", it should just be a side bonus.

What I think they should add instead is an "I'll go for the rescue" marker that survivors can get and cancel on will when someone is on hook. So if you see that someone else has it, you can stick to gens safely or if no one else has it, you can get the marker and have everyone else be at ease. It can just be a little icon next to the name.

Edit: after reading some other comments, it came to my attention that letting people see the perks on the team may actually be a bad idea. The reason why is that other survivors may bully you or dc because your loadout isn't meta and it may incentivize people to huff the meta builds even harder for a fear of being made fun of instead of enjoying more variety and playing the game the way they are comfortable.

  5. I don't get why they haven't added in everyone being able to see each others perks (killer excluded, obviously) because it quite literally only benefits solo queue, if you're in a 4 stack you already know what perks everyone's running. I'll just chalk it up to another "BHVR" moment.

I conclude that the pig should be nerfed for this very reason

  6. Lookin' forwards to this change. It also has the potential to create some other cool concepts. Maybe a status effect like blindness hides the icons for the duration of the status – would be an excellent buff to blindness. -This would possibly make add-ons that inflict it actually have some value.

Obviously this isn't necessary, but new features always have room for interacting with each other, which can make more things more fun, viable, etc.

  7. It's easy. Ask yourself, does this info make solo q on par with an average SWF?
    The answer is no.
The icons are no where near enough, we need basekit kindred that's active the whole game.
That way, solo q has the same info that SWF has.
SWF has no real big benefit from it.
Then we can start addressing some other things to bring solo q up to the same level as SWF, like some perk changes and killer reworking, so they don't unfairly affect solo q compared to a swf.

Once that's done, solo q and SWF is as balanced to each other as they can ever get, and we can buff killers so that they're more evenly matched with swfs.

Basekit kindred the whole game, means that we see killers aura the whole game basically, as long as they're in a chase with someone. That means all perks/addons that shows auras can be reworked into something new.

Killer being visible for everyone basically the whole game isn't ideal, but a decent SWF will be able to make call outs that's equivalent to that info. It's necessary, if you ever want to balance the game at all.

  8. It'd be nice if you could see your teammates Perks, Item Add-Ons and selected Offering while in the lobby. Might not have enough time to swap your own Perks and Items too much, other than swap to another load-out, but you could at least change your Offering so it doesn't clash. There have been lots of times I want to go to a specific Realm for one reason or another but another Survivor burns a different Realm Offering and theirs gets picked over mine. I've also seen some people burn a "Less mist" Offering at the same time someone else burns a "More mist" Offering and seeing that in the lobby would prevent such things from happening.

    Thanks for the video Scott.

  9. This is what I suggested for years and it's really coming! Chase icon is gonna be a game changer, finally you don't need to make yourself an obsession, so your teammates can see that it's safe to do gens. Can't wait, honestly.

  10. Seeing other survivors' perks mid/pre-game is iffy in a 4v1 isometric game like this.

Everyone knows 4 man swfs are the strongest meta in the game. Giving too much info to soloqs will bring them closer to 4swfs, which may, in turn, necessitate killers to play with extra sweaty perks or strats.

  11. I think one thing they can do is buff or rework a couple perks that are useful for soloq, example would be Kindred a REALLY good perk for soloq since it always lets you see the killer when in range of the hooked person and where everyone is when someone is hooked which then works for everyone when the Kindred user is hooked, I think a useful buff would be to make it so Kindred's effects always apply no matter whos on the hook, might sound broken but not really, I've watched people still sit on gens not helping me while im using Kindred before so it wont change much but it would be a useful buff so you dont have to sit there other side of the map from a hook watching the others just sit there doing gens instead of saving when theyre much closer to hook a buff like that to Kindred would negate this more often

theres plenty of things they can buff or change to also help with soloq and it mostly just comes down to working on some perks that are most commonly used or considered useful for SoloQ

  12. I am kind of against being able to see other survivors Perks..
I dunno about US.. but in EU that will help the toxicity more than anything else..
Trolls will deliberately cleanse all totems if you use boons, run the killer to you if you use a gen progress build, etc.
Not to mention the Ragequitter that see someone using "non-meta" perks and instantly DCs because of it.

  13. Kindred. Just use Kindred and literally 99% of 'problems' a survivor might have liteally disappear.
A general perk… already buffed twice or even more… out since day one… was and still is the strongest perk ingame

  14. Can we have pings as well? These two features in Video Horror Society are soo good. I'm not sure if it would be too good, but once solo queue can be somewhere near the level of SWF, they can actually balance the game around that.
