It’s realism they strive for. I can’t hear someone scream half a mile away. Therefore a giant monster shouldn’t either.
This is without a shadow of a doubt an intended nerf to killer tracking. They did the same thing with Scratch Marks back in 2019 when Oni released. Because he could track blood and BHVR wanted people to focus on that they did nerf scratchmarks. Now because they want people to play Cash Grab Lady who's only power is tracking, they are nerfing sounds cause they want you to use her power instead.
Now it's clear why i was thinking Dragon's Grip was bugged, i simply didn't get any warning at all that a survivor was affected by it…THx BHVR. Please keep doing these changes, i'll definetly play more Killer…

This isn't really a nerf at all, now if a notification goes off you still have to identify what it is, you still get the notification lol, this is a buff, for when killer's are in chase or carrying a survivor and can't look at their notification
This is the first chapter where I don’t want nor care for the survivors perks.

Is it just me or as anyone else noticed that the survivors hooked scream more longer now.
Tradition is important, I'm glad the devs are adhering to this particular tradition.
This is a huge general killer nerf. While they are giving survivors more info they are giving killers less. I use make your choice and dragons grip on a couple killers. Without a scream there is NO indicator that it even went off.
I haven’t played doctor with this change but it would be a huge nerf if it affects his base powers.
wait, does this mean that they nerfd the doctor into the ground? If you can only hear screams up to 19m his static blast is basically useless. What a joke of a balancing team.
0:55 I think there’s an easy fix to this Make your choice issue. Just put an icon next to the player thats exposed due to the perk, similar to how there’s icons now when gens are being worked on, totems are being cleansed, or when survivors are healing. Of course killers can’t see these things on their end and I’m no programmer but they should at least give killers an idea of who’s exposed from a long distance.
Im impressed on how delusional balancing team is, I'd preffer to have a sound design team to be in charge of balancing stuff in dbd!
