  1. Yeah, this might be one of the most inherently unfun killers they've released. I can't think of any way to change her to be more fun to play against without significantly changing how she ends up playing. She's great fun to play as too, which makes those bigger changes a bit more painful. Yucky.

  2. I find her fun to play against (part of that may be I run Flashbang almost every match) HOWEVER I can see why others wouldn't. As manifestly powerful and bullcrap as she is at times, her power feels earned, so I definitely find her more satisfying to play than Spirit.

  3. maybe making it so you can't see bird auras while placing crows and playing an audio cue for survs when she starts placing crows could do something – the idea is that it could allow survivors a chance to better dodge those long range "shotgun" hits when you don't have line of sight.

  4. For anyone looking for some spicy bird builds I've been using Blood Favor, the new scourge hook perk, Dead Man's Switch, and Thrilling Tremors. Thrilling has a tendency to clash with some of the perks but the info it provides on her feels invaluable. Dead Man's is a lot of fun because the scourge hook procing will proc Dead Man's and then you can block other gens by just sending crows its way. Blood Favor is just nasty when it works but it could probably be swapped for Ruin or Pop.

  5. I wish she only had just the one crow instead of three, it's way too easy to consistently land crows on survivors and shotgun them shortly after. It's huntress hatchets on steroids but the delay is non-existent and the skill requirement is nowhere near as high

  6. Why does it matter when a killer is miserable to go against? like, I know the answer don't get me wrong, you want to breath life into your game with a killer that is fun to play and fun to play against. But then again, this game has so many insufferable things to go against as killer, I'm not exactly sure why when a killer has something along those same lines it becomes a problem. Killers are the thing that keeps this game alive, and they make up the minority of the player base.

It was kind of a similar situation when the twins finally worked the way they are supposed to, or old spirit, where they are fun to play because it sparks something different, but unfun to play against because the counters are boring or non existent. Twins just don't do things killers usually do, they slug instead of hooking for early snowball pressure and thats their entire gameplan, because as a character they control areas in a similar way to trapper and hag. its something new, a different way of playing instead of the same old same old, but then again they aren't fun to play against because of that, and thats bad. Old spirit allowed for mindgames, quick map pressure and chase potential with a higher skill ceiling, and relying on your hearing (or the environment) to get you your downs in chases, but then again she sucked to play against because her counterplay was nonexistent. she was fun because she felt like you had to try harder, but unfun because it made the game harder for the other end. (dont worry i didnt like the 50/50s either but still)

for me, the entire situation seems so one sided.(and this is coming from someone who put the game down a long time ago, and hasnt picked it up since. suck my dick dbd.)
Like, its a 4v1 game, i kind of feel like the killer should have the upper hand when it comes to atleast one thing yknow? makes them have a unique play style. meanwhile a survivor team (idc about survive with friends) can run the most meta perks, can play the most boring way, drag the game out to a complete stand still at times, overall make the game awful to play for the other side and it's just kinda- "thats life" y'know?

I know This is kind of an odd question, but its a serious one all in all, and im genuinely wondering what you guys think.

  7. The thing that they keep doing is releasing killer with cool and fun abilities that just aren’t fun to face as a survivor. But it’s counteracted by releasing survivor perks that aren’t fun to face. I think that’s why I stopped playing recently

  8. I think this Killer’s crossmapping and even just basic ranged potential is vastly overrated. She has a global audio cue and the crows can literally be seen through walls on launch. This coupled with the fact that you can watch and hear her set up, place down, and then use her power makes her the single most reactable Killer in this game. A good Survivor will either see the birds coming from miles away, or hear the launch sound and think, “Hmm, I should probably walk away from this generator for two seconds.” You’re basically never hitting them unless you zone.

Even if you land a crow, once they start repelling, you have to rely on what the aura told you before it vanished. A good Survivor can EASILY use this to their advantage and adopt unpredictable movement. And by “unpredictable” I mean “literally doing anything other than running in a straight line like these Survivors were doing”.

  9. What if crows didn’t hit for like 5-8 meters of its flight meaning to use them in loops couldn’t place them on the pallets. And idk maybe make her crows do just straight up damage from a certain distance

  10. i think the artist is fine being in the strong place she's in, but I understand she can be annoying to play against. Maybe they could increase the cooldown for missed crow shots, in order to reward players for dodging?

  11. The longshots are not “insanely strong” by ANY means 😂 for starters it has to take a garbage survivor to just not repel crows for whatever reason lol (to hide aura) . And anyone with half a brain will show aura running one way and hide it to run other way lmao . Longshots against Mid MMR are not even a factor , unrealistic . Not to mention the 10+ counters she has lol , Up there with hag

  12. I don't know, it's nearly impossible to balance this killer in terms of strength and fun aspect. Being able to pressure map from anywhere is too strong, but making the range of Crows like 32m or something like that is kinda useless, it is going to be only and only chase killer

  13. I think chatter is on to something, having her crows behave similar to old Freddy where they only reveal aura outside the terror radius would probably be a good change. It makes her less oppressive in loops, while still getting information about the map.
We can throw it on the list of changes that would be good but BHV will never add.
