Dead by Daylight is a survival horror asymmetric multiplayer online game developed by Behaviour Interactive. It is a one-versus-four game in which one player takes on the role of a savage killer and the other four play as survivors; the killer must catch each survivor and sacrifice them to a malevolent force known as the Entity by impaling them on hooks, while the survivors must avoid being caught and fix five generators to open the exit gates. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows in June 2016, followed by additional ports for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2017, Nintendo Switch in September 2019, iOS and Android in April 2020, Stadia in October 2020, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in November 2020.

The game is published by Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive, who acquired the publishing rights from Swedish studio Starbreeze Studios in January 2018. Alongside original characters, the game also includes characters from various franchises such as Halloween, Left 4 Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Evil Dead, Ghost Face, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, Crypt TV, Resident Evil, Hellraiser, and Ringu. The game received mixed reviews upon release, though it was a commercial success, attracting more than 50 million players.

  2. They overused the term OP and don't understand the killer to say he needs a nerf since he's been out for not even a week, but exploiting is understandable for being upset.
    Along with that the one dude crying about an exploit being a "typical dev update" and how the game is killer sided is a bit of a baby.

From the bat they're the standard DBD cookiecutter group of baby survivors with limited game experience, but what annoys me the most is that one manchild in the call (do I need to point him out?). Like it's crazy how everyone in that SWF is unphased by his constant barrage of whining esp with that voice. I would go nuts. Anyways baffled how people continue to play videogames even when they're obviously not enjoying them

  8. Not Op just shitty thing to do and it's abusing an exploit that wasn't intended. But here is the thing if killers do this BHVR has been known to ban them aka the double blades on Legion. I got a 24 hour ban because of it. But if survivors do it, aka a whole lot of things, but last thing I remembered that pissed me off a lot was the wake-up bug. It made survivors do everything 15 percent faster all match long. Vaults, gens, healing etc, I had a lot of matches that was four man wake up teams and BHVR didn't ban a single person for that.

  13. People didn't know that survivors can't do anything without getting nerfed or killers crying but exploits like that are ok because the knight sucks says every killer every update every killer release makes sense to me 😂

  15. The comment he made about nerfing killers was the most survivor main thing I've heard. "they're not gonna fix that because that would be nerfing as killer and they don't do that." They say as if killers haven't been the ones nerfed insanely hard the past 2 years. Man I can't stand the DBD community.

    Any normal m1 killer can face camp
    It's a bug that will obviously soon as the main 4 youtubers talk about it and they will because now idiots have seen this all the troll killer mains will flock to this exploit till its fix.

    But damn that 1 guy moans. Did he just say that they refuse to nerf killers? XD

    LAST time i checked survivors got BT at base getting Unbreakable at base at some point.
    Survivor meta is still as stale as it's ever been being the closer you get to top MMR the more dead hard adrenaline, unbreakable and NOW ds or off the record 3 to 4 stacks you run into

    And killer?
    Meta got NUKED and they got a pretty negligible speed buffs to everything across the board still nowhere near the power of 8 stacks of meta perks for free when unbreakable comes around

  24. I mean an easy possible work around is faking a hook to bring the knight out and unhooking. And find the hex asap. Still do able with good teamwork. Not all swf are created equal. Some suck.

  28. Man, some of these people act like they don't like the game even when the killer is playing normally. I usually side with survivors for most things, but this guy from the get-go is just like, "Good, I hope hes stuck there."

    Also, I wouldn't really say this is OP since you can just slam gens and leave cause no pressure is going on, but it definitely needs to be looked into from BHVR.

  35. I feel like you can tell when people barely play killer or don't play killer at all. Those are the survivors that complain the most. I used to be that way until I started to play a lot of killer and now I'm always the person in my group that corrects and defends perks and abilities that killers have to my friends that never play killer and have this survivor main mentality smh
