Honestly I think hiding in a locker should put you in first person (unless you have Head On) equipped maybe, its so much scarier hearing a heartbeat, unsure where the killer is, or worse just out of nowhere TIER 1 MYERS!!!
I'm pretty sure the devs originally wanted the survivors to be in 1st person but they scrapped that idea for obvious reason

no no no no!!! NO! THE GAME IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY AS IT IS LOL, DONT GIVE THE DEVS IDEAS PLEASE! Imagine they come up with something crazy like a perk that once hit with a basic attack, forces you into first person for a period of time, id never play again.. i think every killer would use it so it is harder to see behind us while being chased…. absolutely horrifying!

Unfortunately, this would make the game into an actual scary horror game.
Which clearly Dbd wasn't designed for. Therefore this will never happen.
I wanted this to be a thing 3 years ago already when I started playing this game. 3rd person for survivors just deletes the possibility of this game being scary after playing it for 1-2 hours.
Now imagine triggering a hag trap in first person. Actual heart attacks incoming.
I really hope this video blows up and BHVR implements something like this, atleast to try it out. Way to cool not to do it.

Ah man, if this was an option, it’ll definitely add so much more fear factor into the game when playing survivor that’s for sure. At least make it an optional thing for survivors to opt into since this can be hella fun to try n play with.

Miss when the game used to feel scary. Big problem is how removed you feel from your character, but they can’t make a crazy change like that until a sequel. Some characters like Nemesis or Oni are scary because of their size, but most of the time your camera is towering over them

Would love if they made this as a feature so that way if you are a good player you can play this way and go into a whole new gameplay. This could also be a good thing as it will make survivors feel the pain of killers as it would be so much harder to get away when they can't see fully what they are doing like when they do loops and 360s
