Even powerfully evil goons like Albert Wesker need to learn about Dead by Daylight’s infinite loops eventually. The rite of passage for Resident Evil’s resident Mastermind is of course to be ran in circles around several pieces of wood. So lets give Wesky the welcome he deserves as we test DBD’s Project W chapter and take chases against Evil Felix on the PTB.

  5. My final thoughts on the PTB:

    – Wesker is fun to play with / against, seems well balanced. Not OP, but can hold his own especially in dead zones.

    – The killer teachables from this chapter are GREAT. Probably the most fun set of teachables for killer from the past two years for my personal taste. Perks are not meta / gen slowy, but they fit with unique builds which is cool.

    – New survivors / voice lines are cool

    – New RPD is good, lots of new ways to path through the map. Might be more survivor sided now though (more pallets / stronger pallets in some sections combined with more viable windows)

    – Rebecca's perks are cool, Reassurance is definitely a game changer and hyperfocus is fun to use in skillcheck builds. Ada's perk are unfortunately all either bugged or lackluster on PTB. Each needs fixes / buffs. Quick thoughts: Wire tap – need to fix gen activated perk interaction and needs to synergize with Open Handed, both broken on PTB. Reactive Healing – rarely actually worked on the PTB. probably needs to be reworked. (EX: 50% heal when proc'd but has a long cooldown to avoid abuse.) Low Profile – needs to last entire end game OR needs to mute injured sounds for duration.

  31. Sometimes wesker’s power feels like he has his arms stretched out at his sides so that even when you think you’re out of the way he clotheslines you. It‘s a blessing and a curse for him. He grabs survivors a lot even when he probably shouldn’t and he bumps into obstacles even when he probably shouldn’t

  44. yerv idk if u have tried it but repressed and wiretap is really strong. basically guarantees a little protective shield for your wiretap and from my experience with ptb tells your teammates a) a gen that's likely near finishing and b) where the killer is. it probably will be even better if open handed actually works with wiretap after the PTB
