Is she really just a worse Knight? She seems quite different.
Skull Merchant is a Jack of Trades at this point almost any thype of build do wonders with her, even if she stay in a tier C or B among other killers, that versatility make her shine in many ways
I've been doing this build for a long time now, especially before her rework. I like to call it "terror radius roulette". This is one of the most fun ways to play her in my opinion.
Starstruck Merchant with iron grip and Weskers awareness perk and the other 2 perks are your choice
How I been playing it is carrying the person until I see them with awareness I hook and start to one shot 😂
Why would I play trapper when I can play skull merchent or hag?
Honestly I think people still are underestimating how good she is. She's essentially now a really strong jack of all trades. She can trap an area, stealth up, chase consistently and can have near constant information on survivors. She may not be anywhere near the very best (Blight and Nurse) but the sheer versatility in her kit honestly puts her in the running for a low A tier at this point if not at least a high B, at least in my opinion.
This addon is good but only in 2 scenarios.
1. On small maps survivors will have no choice but to disable them from being hindered by them.
2. Sadly to say but a 3gen or a location lock down where most of the gens are. They will have no choice but to disable them as well to get to them or when they try to run from.
Its still better than its old version, its just survivors have no reason to disable them because they don't get scanned when sitting on gens so you wont get haste or the addon value.
