What happened with the Dead By Daylight creator Junebug? In this video, I’ve broken down the events surrounding him, Selena, and Swarm that have occurred over the past couple of weeks.

Whether you choose to continue to support these creators or not, one thing you should definitely not do is send hate to any of them. That won’t help anything. You should use that energy to spread love in the community as best as you can.

  1. It's really sad how online gaming content creation attracts so many incredibly unstable narcissists and gives them a following of people that enable and encourage that behavior.

  2. i think with all of them, we need to wait and see how they grow with their actions. but the one i'm going to be more strict with is, really, Selena and Swarm. both of them were fully in control of their actions and while none of them took accountability before being called out, Selena intentionally hid the bad things she did (thus showing she knew they were bad) and Swarm would never have even discussed his racist past unless he was called out. June i think needs professional help more than he needs to be persecuted by the internet. as someone who is best friend's with a person with BPD, while i find June's behavior awful, i find myself unable to fully blame him for it. people with BPD often have people in their social circle that are called Favorite People, and these FPs often have a lot of control over how the person with BPD sees themselves. as an FP to my friend, i do my best to NEVER use that control, full stop. i don't want to ever hurt the person i am friends with or use their mental illness against them. it is plausible, to me, that Selena may have been an FP of June's, and his actions are those of a desperate person trying to get away from someone who is abusive but who also holds a significant amount of his self esteem in their hands. June doesn't need to be persecuted or hated, he needs a therapist and he needs love and support from people who actually care about him and will be able to help him be the person that he truly is

  3. June and Selena seem straight up gross to me. I suppose with the context June may have just been trying to hurt Selena because of the clear toxic relationship they had or maybe when you put two despicable people together that's how the relationship they have works.

Also using that language then exposing June knowing full well especially on the internet she will get exposed if you have done the same things.

The whole reclaiming the slurs is down right weird. Does she think it would be cool and make her look strong? I guess to some people where their disability isn't visible it won't have the same effect as someone who has a clear and visible disability.

People need to learn only because a slur can be applied to yourself in a negative way doesn't mean you can "reclaim it" the word was a lost cause upon its creation. It's definitions was to make you feel less. It can not be "saved"

Nah, I don't like them. They all need to get in the bin. We have better dbd creators we can all support.

I literally had this exact same conversation with my husband last night. People scream and shout for accountability and apologies, but when they get that, it's "not good enough"?
I have never interacted with any of these streamers, probably never will, so I'm not just saying this because I'm a sub or a follower or anything like that. You need to give people chances to fulfil their vow to do and be better. It's not an overnight thing. Of course, there are some things that shouldn't be overlooked, like 'Ukulele Girl', but when they own up to it, accept it. And like you said, if it turns out that they didn't mean it and are still the same in a few weeks or months, then shit on them. But it just boils my blood when people use the "WAH that's not good enough" approach

  7. All I know about these folk prior to these videos is that, every time I saw any of them mentioned in any comment section, it was often some variation "Yeah, they were awful to me, but they're huge steamers so I can't do anything about it."

Anecdotal as hell, but there you go.

  8. I have no idea who any of these people are. I play DBD for fun and am not involved in any of the drama that seems to surround this gaming community. However, I think you're an eloquent and brilliant speaker and like watching your videos. I wish all involved the best and hope they can find peace. 💜

  9. Why is this anyone else's business but their own?

This just in: Random people don't get along with each other i.e. welcome to normal everyday life. So what?

  10. Yessssss people need a chance to show that they can change. If you don't let them show it then they won't change.

Wow I needed you recently to make me realise that people take advantage of my willingness to change for them

I’ll try to keep it short but Horrible experience too, very toxic..I was killer n gone against them n they were not nice at all..we were both live n they started comin to my chat bein very rude, includin his followers wit mine keepin it cool n me not even tryin to stoop to their level..like I’m havin fun n they get upset cuz I wouldn’t chase em or it didn’t go their way n I won..very sad, n I still kept some clips n screenshots of that encounter..
I never responded nor went to his chat to say anythin as I didn’t want a problem n just move on to the next game, as I was new to streamin..

  12. What kills me is Sel painted herself as innocent. She still hasn't taken responsibility for how abusive and manipulating she was. June is guilty too, no doubt, but she really pulled an Amber Heard card and cried "innocent victim", and only 'apologized' when she got caught and when everyone demaded it of her.

  13. It's kinda funny, Swarm blocked Selena because he didn't want her to bring the drama to his chat, and said that Junebug and she were toxic to each other. Was he wrong lol?

  14. More drama between dbd content creators that fricken rap artists in the 90s, sheesh.

I already see one brewing between Hens and Jund over the Skull Merchant, and it's just like… calm down, bro, it's a god damn video game.
