Hey everyone, today we’re looking at some of the most strange and unique add-ons in Dead by Daylight. I’m not including any iridescent or meme add-ons in here, so trying to avoid any obvious ones. Let’s get into it.

Chapter 23 has been released! It’s Sadako Rising, a licensed chapter. The new killer is named The Onryō, and the new survivor, Yoichi Asakawa! Sadako’s gameplay is really fun, and Yoichi’s perks are pretty interesting.

  1. freddys fake pallet add-ons are pretty unique in the sense it totally changes a killers power for something else. woulda been cool to see that on some other killers like say nemesis. swap the whip for something focusing more on yer zombros

  2. I think the reason a lot of people don't know about the glass bead, is cause no one runs maps in general a lot of the time. Once every 20 or so games, do I see someone running a map. And even then, they usually just use the add-on which allows everyone to see the auras generated, and an add-on which either slows down burn time, make it last longer, or increase the range. In the past 50 games I have done as survivor, only once does a time where another survivor, that wasn't me, actually used the bead. I knew what it meant, as I like to read all add-on descriptions while waiting for a match. I ran over, and low and behold, it was a hex totem. I think the survivor was being chased, and left a marker for someone else to cleanse the totem while they ran. The add-on is really useful, but only for those who know what it is and means.

  3. There was a time in the past that I saw the light beam as killer whenever a survivor was using a map with the glass bead. I wonder if that was a bug at the time and it was fixed in a later update.

  4. Video idea : Rank which killer is most painful for survivors to go against ( not how hard their powers to counter for players , how much pain they will cause to survivors) For example legion and ghostface only stabs. But pyramid head use tormented curse ob survivors which would be really painful.

  5. While I know you were wanting to avoid overly obvious picks, hence no iridescents, but tombstone piece on Myers is certainly up there for unique addons. Nothing else in the game, except for it's iridescent counterpart, allows a survivor to be flat out mori'd without even getting downed.

  6. I think that the Video tape for Pig is a unique add-on. Aside from the absolute bloodclot of gameplay that is AFK Pig, Video Tape gives you a lot of pressure right away and requires you to be more strategic with the remaining traps you’ve got. It also promotes prowling the Boxes for pressure, in addition to the gens.
