  2. I don't actually run dead hard or adrenaline when I play survivor (I switch my perks around constantly to help me learn). And as killer I don't run eruption. If I run slow down at all, I only allow myself one. But I also don't care if I win or lose. I do think the current meta sucks and would love a change.

  3. I think a really good fix would be to make the DLCs cheaper but make the licensed chapters a bit more expensive (because of the IP). Then put more licensed perks in the Shrine. That way, the game isn’t pay to win and the grind isn’t harder.

Honestly this game being free to play would help the business sure there gonna lose a bit but it be made in cosmetics.I used to really love this game but I'm slowly losing interest year by year this game needs something new cause it's getting stale new game mode Mori anything really I agree with all ur points.

  5. and oh please don't remind anyone about new mori system, it was a funkiller and that ptb scared me so much, if something like this goes live I'll probably stop playing, and I almost never feel like this, usually I'm excited about changes

  6. King, I agree so much with this entire video! All of these points are absolutely right, the legendary skins inconsistency pisses me off so bad hahaha I made a ranking video literally basing it on that same point! No perk changes, DH being OP for years and Eruption dominating the meta, 80% of the perks being basically unused, no hype for new maps because they are badly designed for one side…

    And I fully understand your frustration. We are not being entitled, or bashing BHVR for “extra clicks” because being negative does better on youtube. We want the game to be better because we know it can be way better! And especially with the fact that we have been playing since 2016 makes us know all the bad things about the game that should have been added already like the Quality UI fixes!

  7. there’s such a huge difference between the strongest and weakest perks in the game, bhvr needs to nerf the strongest and buff the weakest to bring them all closer to the same level. Obviously this would need to be done carefully and within reason but perk efficiency is all across the board so players have zero incentive to run gimmick builds over meta builds if it drastically increases the chances of them losing, especially as killer. playing without gen regression perks makes killer so much more stressful and makes some killers borderline unplayable for me

  9. -claps – Yes. Thank you King for making this video. I have been subscribed for a while and this is the first I've felt compelled to comment. It takes a lot of courage for someone like you in the DBD community to make this sort of statement. The way you did it was in the spirit of discourse which is appreciative. You have the ability to be the voice the community needs with your influence.

    It is apparent that the community is at risk, you can see it with other youtube creators struggling to maintain viewers as the amount of players decrease, discord communities dissipate as gamers move to different games, and people are naturally starting to get back into life with covid restrictions lifting.

    This game is special and needs to be protected. 2023 we need to have a more modern, better game experience in DBD. Thank you again for organizing this succinctly and approachable.

  10. I'd love to see new Moris combined with skins for killers. I mean, many games have several animations for "special" skins in their games (for example R6 with their legendary skins and winning pose) so it would be great to see something like this.

The sad truth is that the Dead By Daylight team are just lazy, they focus on cosmetics because it's easier to design shirts and pants then it is to implement crucial and enjoyable gameplay changes without risking a blunder. They don't want to receive backlash about big changes so they just don't make them.

I think your problem I’ve been noticing with dbd lately is that a lot of the good perks have been attached to licenses and they kind of been lacking on the parts that are attached to original characters it kind of sucks cause even if The license survivor or killer sucks you will still probably buy it because you want the perks like, has anybody been noticing that lately?

  13. The single most biggest problem is the core game itself!
    Survivor job: Hold M1 for 120 seconds
    Killer Job: Stop 4 people from holding M1 for 120 seconds across the map, slap each of them 6 times and bring them to a hook
    You don't have to be a genius to see where the balancing issues are coming from. There are not even pallets, loops or perks counted in here.
    What needs to be fixed is that survivors have to do more stuff to get the escape without it being 100% reliant on the Killer.
