  2. Scott, do you think this was a rushed chapter from a scrapped predator license? I remember someone on the dev team said we would get more license content but that must have been the blight skin

  3. the killers that were released before her was anti loop killers..and some are very strong like knight and wesker …seeing the skull merchant as "weak" is a good thing ..u dont want every killer to be anti loop killer or that can teleport and just be so boring to go against

  4. How this killer was made:

There is an awful lot of wallhackers in my games.

Why don’t we just add a killer that wall hacks as a power?

    Can we do that?

Ofc we can we are THE devs.

    (Or something similar)

The exposed effect is just a bonus effect, really.

  5. Background player now seems like it's custom made for sabo plays. Sabo with a toolbox maxed for speed as soon as a killer starts to pick up then zoom to the next hook to Sabo it before the killer can get there. Don't know how well it will work in actual application, but of the top of my head that sounds like the most plausible way to get value.

  6. This killer is just bad in every way that it can be. The developers are losing touch with the game and the only changes that happen are a new killer, new survivor, a few new perks, and a new map. Never really any new mechanics or anything too game-changing imo. Besides the new content, the game has been somewhat stale for the past couple years.

  7. Renato perk should have exhaustion removed if they're sticking with that change. Also I gave the Devs 2 years ago in a letter for a cyborg power. It was to have n advanced crossbow shooting explosive arrows that the killer doesn't need to hit with. The arrow can be shot into a wall and if the surv is close enough loses a health state. With add ons the killer can switch out explosives for gas/white fog. As killer can bring in 3 c4 mines to plant and control to set off with good prediction and timing. Devs obviously didn't take my idea so far.

  8. I think the Background Player change happened because it's kinda weird to implement the suggested change. The perk would either:

1: Help another survivor and leave you exhausted, letting the other survivor use an exhaustion perk after the massive speed boost

    2. Give another survivor exhausted, which is weird conceptually, and would hurt the other survivor if they heal under hook (since perk is active regardless of tunneling)

Not saying the change is better than these options, but it's safer and simpler, so it makes sense that it happened this way

  9. Bully squads and cheaters will love Background Player. It will much easier to get into position and will be a good explanation why they can always get to position. It might not be an issue for very skilled players, but average and beginner killer will hate it sooooo much….

  10. I think THWACK! may be more useful than you give it credit for. Killers with one shots or fast pallet breaking will use this well. Killers like Myers, you have stored t3 and you kick a pallet the perk can be useful. Or maybe nurse, even though she doesn't kick pallets and people don't usually thrown down pallets, people tend to throw them down as a last ditch effort. I don't think it will be very good but it does have a place. I could also see where this might be alright on demo, with his pallet shredding.

  11. I think people underestimate how strong it is that the exposed effect, 60 seconds long, resets every time you even touch a drone area. Her 3 gen game just got even stronger if getting exposed once means you have to be useless until your expose wears off.
