  1. I'm never really sure about salt content and what it's trying to prove, because people say that tunneling, camping, t bagging etc. Are not toxic, but salt content creators actively do these things to piss people off sometimes and it's kinda dumb

  2. I know why you don't say who the content creator is to avoid a bunch of idiots go and send them hate, but at the same time wish you did so i can avoid them like the plague xP

  3. 100% agree with you, what is then even worse is when the streamers community goes on a hate cruise against the person. Love that you mention its OK to disagree and hope you know that when I disagree with something I'm not just trying to hate on the vids, I just genuinely disagree!

  4. Paradoxally salt content is what turned me off the most from playing the game despite playing on console (so no end game chat) and having usually a thick skin. Not even toxicity in LoL turns me off from playing the game, but seeing content creators posting salt content makes me think "why would I play if what I care about the most (mutual respect) is an unknown thing here?". At a certain point DHgOddddd42069 teabagging at every pallet drop isn't irritating, it's disarming, because using base game mechanics it's apparently considered tilting. People would litterally preferr to commit mistakes to make the opponent miserable.

  5. Absolutely agree and said before I even block channel's that put out salt content because this is just another good example of why not to watch them because this could happen to you. We do disagree sometimes but I like to think we keep it respectable and no hard feelings and just a good discussion. Love your video's and it's good to have different opinions sometimes otherwise your just living in a echo chamber.

  6. There's a difference between getting frustrated at 4 Dead Hards but not being toxic or someone going out of their way to be toxic. Honestly I find stuff where people are like HAHA LOOK AT HOW ANGRY THIS PERSON GETS when they're not being toxic really cringey at best and bullying at worst. Especially if that someone said they're a fan?? Jesus.

  7. Oh no no, sir. You see, they can disagree with you, but you cannot disagree with them. It is Chat Hypocrisy 101. If you dare defend yourself against them, they shall ostracize you for it. At least thats the mentality I keep seeing from a lot people in many different chats these days. It's disgusting, really.

I see it happen to quite a few creators out there, some handle it pretty well, but others…don't.

  8. I hate when people do this. Makes me wonder if they watched the whole VOD and cut out the parts where they were happy to have gone against them just so they can make a salt video. Kinda cringe.
I try to snipe you guys all the time on Fridays when you're sittin' in survivor queues. And I'm convinced I'd probably get sauced on and 4 man outed, but would hope that you wouldn't then tease me afterward; I feel like this community is mature enough to not do that. It's a shame other people do stuff like that, though.

And I've seen plenty of content creators use other people's streams respectfully, where they ask if they can use the other person's POV and make a video with both perspectives, cause it is really neat to be able to watch a match from both the killer and surv's POV sometimes. You don't need salt.

  9. I think this becomes a bigger issue once a streamer/content creator starts to get a larger following. Doing something like making a salt video on a fan doesn't matter at that point to the streamer because they already have a good amount of fans. Salt videos can also have the potential of generating a lot of views (idk why really. I think people may just find outrage entertaining?). I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is a point where some streamers start to see their fans as things they can profit from if the chance arises and it's sad.

  10. Id actually enjoy a video that talks about a very similar issue; the impact that streamers have over the community and influence over a video game. Streamers can make or break the lifespan of a video game, and also dictate how the game changes as well. As we all know, people make "new build guides" for killers, for content. "The best new killer build!" blah blah blah. Sadly, the majority of the builds we see killers use, were founded and even if not founded, known for a famous streamer publicizing such a build. The players play the build, and the game changes. Take the totem build with Blight that Scott Jund did, and now, you rarely ever see a blight playing without that build. For a very long time, survivors were like….omg…another blight with the same OP build…… Yes, I understand streamers want to put out content for revenue, but at the same time, they sort of sell their soul to do it to organically damage and change the game that they play for revenue.
